Yesterday, April 28, was a historic day for our city as we officially held the Launching and MOA Signing of the Bago City OTOP Hub! 🧡

​This achievement is a testament to the power of collaboration and a shared vision for a thriving local economy. We extend our deepest gratitude to Mayora Mayette Javellana-Yao for her visionary leadership and for emphasizing the importance of providing platforms for our local entrepreneurs to reach wider markets.

Our sincere thanks also goes to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), represented by Provincial Director Lynna Joy Cardinal and Chief Trade and Industry Development Specialist Engiemar Tupas, as well as LEDIPO Head Judee Lynn Lirazan, for their commitment to this partnership.

​We are thrilled to share that our beloved showroom, Bagonhon’s Best, has officially leveled up! It is now the Bago City OTOP (One Town, One Product) Hub at Bantayan Park. 🇵🇭✨

We are still accepting food concessionaires for the National Football Championship at the Manuel Y Torres Sports Center, and the opportunity is now open to all interested vendors!

There are still available slots for anyone looking to serve the crowd during the tournament, which runs from April 29 to May 6. If you want to participate, please visit the LEDIPO Office immediately to secure your spot and finalize the requirements.

LOCAL MSME BOOST. The City Government of Bago conducted the MOA Signing and Launching of the OTOP Hub as part of its continuing efforts to support local businesses and entrepreneurs at the Bago City Showroom today, April 28.

Mayora Mayette Javellana led the activity and emphasized the importance of providing opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to grow and reach wider markets. She highlighted that the OTOP Hub will help showcase locally made products and further strengthen the city’s economic programs.

The Memorandum of Agreement was signed by Mayora Javellana together with LEDIPO Head Judee Lynn Lirazan, while the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) was represented by Provincial Director Lynna Joy Cardinal and Negros Occidental Chief Trade and Industry Development Specialist Engiemar Tupas.

Present in the activity were SK Federation President Nana Lavadia, along with department and office heads of the city government.

The OTOP Hub in Bantayan Park, is expected to serve as a space for promoting proudly Bagonhon products and supporting local livelihood initiatives.
