Pinsao National High School, Police Station 2, and barangay officials strengthened their partnership for learner safety during the flag ceremony held at the school ground today.
School Principal Jane Marie N. Ngolab led the reminders by urging students to take precautions against dengue amid the reported increase in cases and to be ready with protective gears for the rain.
Ngolab also reminded learners to observe discipline, respect fellow students, school personnel, and school rules, stressing that everyone should help ensure that the school is a safe place for teaching and learning. She further encouraged students to engage in worthwhile activities, including sports, as a way to develop discipline, responsibility, and school involvement.
Police Station 2 personnel warned learners against va**ng and joining gang groups, saying these may put their safety, health, and studies at risk.
Students were also informed that the police, school community, and barangay are acting as one in maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment.
Barangay kagawads reinforced the reminders by urging learners to be cautious within the school vicinity and to use the designated catwalk to avoid road accidents.
The program also featured the launching of Nutrition Month led by Angeline Marcel P. Zarate.
Meanwhile, Brainly L. Mangatam encouraged students to register for athletics.
The flag ceremony emphasized safety, discipline, health awareness, and active student participation.
