The Department of Information and Communications Technology – Benguet Provincial Office (DICT-Benguet) conducted a learning session for the personnel of the Human Settlements Adjudication Commission Regional Adjudication Branch – Cordillera Administrative Region (HSAC RAB CAR) on September 17, 2026.

The session, attended by the HSAC RAB CAR personnel headed by Chief Regional Adjudicator Atty. Ligaya Liclican-Haban, focused on strengthening participants’ familiarity and confidence in using digital productivity tools through Google Workspace, Google Gemini, and Google Notebook.

The morning lecture given by Engr. Frederick Gabriel Exibia, Center Manager of DICT DTC Baguio City, provided participants with an overview of the various Google Workspace applications and how these tools can be applied to common workplace scenarios. The discussion also introduced Google Gemini and Google Notebook as emerging AI-powered tools that can support information processing, research, content generation, organization, and other administrative tasks.

Participants actively engaged in the discussion, sharing questions and insights on how these tools could be integrated into their existing workflows.

During the break, DICT-Benguet promoted the recently launched Digital Workforce Hub where professionals, students, upskillers, and job seekers could further their skills in the advent of the digital economy.

The learning continued in the afternoon through a hands-on workshop led by Project Development Officer Mr. Marco San Jose of DICT Benguet, where participants were given the opportunity to explore the applications and apply the concepts discussed during the lecture. The practical activities allowed them to gain first-hand experience in using digital and AI-powered tools in a more collaborative and workplace-oriented setting.

Through initiatives such as this, DICT-Benguet through the support of the Digital Transformation Center of Baguio City continues to support government offices in strengthening their digital capabilities and maximizing technology as a tool for more efficient, collaborative, and productive public service.
