NOTICE OF WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION

Please be informed that Balagtas Water District will experience a temporary water service interruption due to the scheduled shutdown of the Bigte-Novaliches Aqueduct No. 6 (BNAQ6) by the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS).

📅 Date: October 13–14, 2026
⏰ Expected interruption: Starting 10:00 A.M. on October 13, 2026
until 10:00 A.M. on October 14, 2026

The shutdown may affect the supply of treated bulk water delivered to Balagtas Water District, which may result in low water pressure or temporary interruption of water service in some areas of our service coverage.

ADVISORY TO ALL CONCESSIONAIRES

We strongly advise everyone to store sufficient water before the scheduled interruption and to conserve water during the affected period.

Water service will gradually resume once the bulk water supply is restored and the system is ready for normal operation. Please note that the restoration of water pressure may vary depending on the condition of the system.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation.

📢 PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Balagtas Water District (BWD) informs the public that pipe replacement and rehabilitation work is currently ongoing along the Pulong Gubat Public Market.

Motorists, pedestrians, residents, and the general public are advised to exercise caution when passing through the area and to follow all posted safety signs and instructions.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your patience, cooperation, and understanding as we work to improve our water service facilities.

Sa mga nagnanais po na magbayad ng kanilang "water bills" bukas, Setyembre 28, 2026 ay pakiaagahan na lamang po ninyo dahil hanggang ala una ng hapon (1:00 pm) lamang po bukas ang aming tanggapan bilang pakikiisa sa "ARAW NG KAINANG PAMILYA MAHALAGA".

DAHILAN NG INTERRUPTIYON:

Nagkaroon ng aksidenteng pagkakasira (leakage/damage) sa ating mainline na tubo matapos itong matamaan habang isinasagawa ang paghuhukay at pagtatayo ng poste sa kalsada.
Upang maiwasan ang malaking aksaya sa tubig at masimulan agad ang emergency repair at pagkukumpuni, pansamantala po nating isasara ang linya ng tubig sa mga apektadong lugar.

Isang mahalagang pagpupulong ang isinagawa sa Tanggapan ng Punong Bayan ng mga Balagtas Water District Board of Directors kasama sina Mayor Andrew Santiago, Vice Mayor Monay Payuran, at iba pang mga opisyal ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Balagtas upang talakayin ang mga usapin kaugnay ng suplay ng tubig.

Layunin ng pagpupulong na makahanap ng mga konkretong solusyon upang matiyak ang sapat, maayos, at tuloy-tuloy na serbisyo ng tubig para sa mga mamamayan ng Balagtas.

🛠️ Work Update: Transmission of main pipeline size 4, a total of 170 UPVC Pipes along Pulong Gubat (Aqui Gasoline Station to Manolo Galvez St.) is now 100% completed!

Para sa Kabatiran ng Lahat:

Nais naming linawin ang mga kumakalat na usap-usapan na intensyonal na binabawasan ng aming tanggapan ang presyon ng tubig dahil sa pansamantalang pag-alis ng septage fee. Wala po itong katotohanan.

Bagamat nagkaroon ng mga sunod-sunod na pag-ulan, nananatili pa rin pong mababa kaysa sa normal na high level ang antas ng tubig sa Angat Dam. Ito po ang pangunahing dahilan ng mahinang presyon ng tubig sa mga lugar ng Borol 1st at Borol 2nd.

TO OUR VALUED CONSUMERS:

Please be informed that the valve restoration works at IP1 have been successfully completed.
​However, despite the successful restoration, the water allocation remains regulated at 32 to 40 PSI
​Because the allocation remains below normal capacity, consumers across our service area may continue to experience reduced water pressure or temporary supply interruptions during peak demand hours.

We appreciate your understanding, patience, and cooperation as we manage the current water allocation limits.
