𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘆, 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 – Si Jeffrey Reyes ng Limay, Bataan at nagsisilbi rin bilang Policy-maker ng Bataan Peninsula State University ay isa sa 25 official delegates mula sa 1,400 aplikante sa Asia-Pacific na nakapasok sa Youth Climate Conference 2.0 sa Bangkok, Thailand! 🇵🇭✈️

Dinala niya ang boses ng Limay, Bataan at ng Pilipinas sa international stage, ipinakita ang epekto ng climate change sa lokal na komunidad, at nagbahagi ng kanilang paninindigan para sa pagbabago at environmental action.

Isang inspirasyon para sa kabataan: kahit sa murang edad, may kakayahan tayong humakbang, makialam, at gumawa ng malaking epekto sa mundo! 💪🌍

Organized by the 𝐔𝐍𝐅𝐂𝐂𝐂 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 (𝐑𝐂𝐂 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚–𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜), in partnership with the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 (𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐏) and 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡4𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐘4𝐂), this youth camp brings together young leaders to engage in innovative climate policy discussions.

Rep Jeff continues to advance meaningful change as a policymaker and youth leader. He also represented the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 at the 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 in 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐰𝐢, 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚 last September 2025 alongside ASEAN ministries, further demonstrating his commitment to regional and global youth empowerment.

This meaningful space brought together 𝐌𝐀𝐘𝐎𝐑𝐒, 𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐘𝐎𝐑𝐒, 𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐒, and 𝐆𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐒 from 𝐃𝐈𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒, strengthening dialogue on 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏, 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐆𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄, and 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐃𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐏𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓.

As a 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇-𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍, LAYA continues to assert that 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐑𝐔𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍-𝐁𝐔𝐈𝐋𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 not only participants, but 𝐂𝐎-𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐒 of inclusive and sustainable futures.

The 𝐋𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐘 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 (𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐀), together with the 𝐋𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐘 𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐁𝐎𝐖 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐋 (𝐋𝐑𝐂), had the opportunity to meet and engage with 𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐂. 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐘. 𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐍 𝐃𝐄 𝐕𝐈𝐁𝐀𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 at the 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐀𝐌𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐀, 𝐐𝐂.

𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐂. 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 is the appointed 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 of 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐎𝐒 𝐉𝐑. under 𝐄𝐗𝐄𝐂𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐍𝐎. 𝟓𝟏, 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑.

This engagement served as a 𝐂𝐑𝐔𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐄 to bring forward the 𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 of the 𝐋𝐆𝐁𝐓 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 in Limay. As a 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇-𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍, we ensured that the 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋 𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐄𝐒 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐘 𝐋𝐆𝐁𝐓 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇, experienced daily in 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋𝐒, 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒, and other spaces were 𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐃, 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐃, and 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐃.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐘 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 (𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐀) participated in the 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒 “𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐒” 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓, together with 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐃𝐈𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒 and 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐀𝐍, united in advancing 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒, 𝐃𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒, and 𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘.

We also had the opportunity to engage with 𝐑𝐄𝐏. 𝐄𝐋𝐈 𝐒𝐀𝐍 𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎 (Kamangagawa Partylist), who spoke firmly on 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐔𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐒 𝐀 𝐃𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐄𝐎𝐏𝐋𝐄’𝐒 𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒, especially affecting 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐙𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒, and the urgent need to 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄.

This experience strengthened our 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇-𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐂𝐘 and deepened our 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐃𝐄𝐅𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐔𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐈𝐍 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐄.

Today, we honor the strength of people living with HIV and stand united as young advocates committed to ending 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗮 and discrimination.

As LAYA, we believe that 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨. By speaking the truth, spreading correct information, and choosing compassion, we help build a community where no one is judged or left behind.

World AIDS Day reminds us that this fight is not only medical but also rooted in 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

HIV does not define anyone. 𝙎𝙩𝙞𝙜𝙢𝙖 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨. And together, we can end it.

Since its founding in 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯, the 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 (𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗔) has grown into a recognized youth force 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 and 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦, and 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗦, 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗦, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦.
