BATAAN WELCOMES CHANGE. All elected officials in Bataan Province took their oath of office earlier today at the Emiliana Hall.
Executive Judge Angelito I. Balderama witnessed the oath taking of the two congressional district representatives, Jose Enrique S. Garcia III and Geraldine Roman, and re-elected Gov. Albert Raymond S. Garcia. The rest of the province, municipal and city elected officials took their oath with the governor.
The officials’ family members and supporters were also present in the said ceremonies.
A turn over ceremony will be held at the Plaza Mayor in the afternoon.

“THINK WIN-WIN”. The city government’s Health Promotion Leadership Seminar (Prolead) ended today as the city’s public servants ventured into a three-month plan for health advocacy.
Both incoming Rep. Jose Enrique Garcia III and incoming City Mayor Francis Anthony Garcia were present in the said seminar that started on June 27. Aside from them, the city department heads, city health workers, and the incoming vice mayor, Vianca Gozon, were also present.
Resource persons from the World Health Organization regional office facilitated the seminar.
In their respective closing remarks, the two Garcias stressed the importance of enforcing an effective health measure, as it will ensure that Balanga City will always have a roster of able-bodied talents.

PROACTIVE LEADERSHIP. Incoming 2nd Congressional District Representative Jose Enrique Garcia III, incoming City Mayor Francis Anthony Garcia, and city government heads attended a seminar on proactive leadership today.
Given by the World Health Organization (WHO), the ProLead Seminar aims to promote positive leadership among local government units, especially when dealing with the community’s health concerns.
Aside from the city government officials, focal persons from the City Health Office also attended the seminar that kicked off yesterday.
During the seminar proper, the delegates determined various proactive ways of coping with the demands of health services.
The said seminar is expected to end tomorrow, where the delegates will draft resolutions that they may implement as the new administration assumes its term.

HONORS FOR BALANGUEÑOS. Various honors received by the city government were presented to the public this earlier morning.
Ms. Florida M. Dijan of the Department of Interior and Local Government Regional Office III honored Brgy. Cupang’s Lupong Tagapamayapa.
Mr. Rodolfo De Mesa, Education and Excellence Department head, honored Ms. Gianna Kalilah Roman, a Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) graduate who ranked 2nd in the 2016 nursing licensure examination. Roman ranked 2nd with an average of 86.60%.
Lastly, City Health Officer Dr. Mariano Antonio Banzon presented the 2016 Outstanding Healthy Lifestyle award given to Balanga City by the Department of Health on June 23.
