𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐞, 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞: 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬

The Provincial Government of Bataan, in partnership with the Provincial Association of Government Employees (PAGE), led by President Lamberto Lopez and Vice President Liz Concepcion, together with the PGB Core Team and the Office of the Provincial Human Resources Management Officer (OPHRMO), conducted “Mind at Ease, Health with Peace” on October 5, 2026, at the Bataan People’s Center.

The activity brought together Provincial Government of Bataan employees and officials for a session on mental wellness and responsible digital habits, emphasizing the importance of managing stress, maintaining healthy coping practices, and making responsible choices in the use of digital platforms. It also tackled anxiety and online gambling addiction, which may affect an individual’s well-being, relationships, and performance at work.

The session was led by Dr. Timothy Lau, an international speaker, geriatric psychiatrist, and resource person on mental wellness and responsible digital habits.

Alongside the wellness session, an HMO Orientation was conducted for regular employees, with Integrated Management Services, Inc. (IMS) as the Provincial Government of Bataan’s new HMO provider. Ms. Alona Paras, Executive Assistant Officer of IMS, discussed the HMO coverage, services, and other important information to help employees better understand and maximize their health benefits.

Through initiatives such as this, the Provincial Government of Bataan reinforces the importance of taking care of its employees- not only as workers in public service, but also as individuals whose well-being contributes to a more productive and responsive organization.

The Provincial Government of Bataan, in partnership with the Provincial Association of Government Employees (PAGE) and the Office of the Provincial Human Resources Management Officer (OPHRMO), conducted the “Empowered Kawani: Rights, Benefits, Protection and Excellence in Public Service” on September 29, 2026, at The Bunker Atrium, Capitol Compound, as part of the celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary. The activity brought together representatives from various offices of the Provincial Government of Bataan for a dedicated learning and engagement session focused on employee rights, benefits, workplace protection, and responsibilities in public service.

The activity was held in support of this year’s continuing commitment to the values of government service: Puso sa Serbisyo, Dangal sa Tungkulin, at Galing sa Paglilingkod. PAGE President Lamberto Lopez and Vice President Liz Concepcion, together with OPHRMO Department Head Luz R. Enriquez, led the initiative to strengthen employees’ awareness of policies, benefits, and administrative responsibilities that guide them in the performance of their duties.

The first session, “Kaalaman sa Serbisyo,” was facilitated by Ms. Enriquez, who discussed relevant Civil Service updates and policies, including Calamity Leave guidelines, CSC-PR, Alternative Work Arrangements and Work-from-Home arrangements, as well as policies on complaints and administrative accountability. The session provided employees with practical information on workplace policies and the responsibilities that come with being part of the public service.

The second session, “Kasiguruhan sa Benepisyo,” was conducted by Ms. Jennifer P. Manalad, Officer I, and Ms. Jhobelle S. Pagayon, Staff Officer of GSIS Bataan. The discussion focused on the Group Personal Accident Insurance (GPAI), including its coverage, claims procedures, and other aspects of employee protection. The session gave employees a clearer understanding of the benefits available to them and the procedures they need to know when accessing these benefits.

This initiative reinforced the importance of continuing employee development as part of building a responsive, accountable, and service-oriented workforce, while ensuring that they are well-informed and equipped to access the benefits and protection available to them.

In anticipation of the upcoming Father’s Day celebration, the Provincial Association of Government Employees (PAGE) Bataan, under the leadership of President Lamberto Lopez and Vice President Liz Concepcion, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Bataan (PGB), conducted “DAD’s The Way I Like It: A PAGE Bataan Treat to PGB Tatays” on June 17, 2026, at the Main Lobby Leasable Area of The Bunker.

The activity served as a meaningful tribute to the fathers of the Provincial Government of Bataan, recognizing their invaluable contributions as public servants, providers, mentors, and role models. It highlighted the important role they play both in their families and in delivering quality public service.

As part of the activity, participating PGB fathers enjoyed complimentary haircuts, manicure and pedicure services, as well as free coffee, warm servings of sopas, and pandesal. Surprise gifts were also distributed as tokens of appreciation for their dedication and commitment both at work and at home.

More than a celebration, the activity promoted employee wellness, strengthened camaraderie, and fostered a culture of appreciation within the workplace. Through initiatives such as this, PAGE Bataan continues to uphold its commitment to the welfare and well-being of government employees while recognizing the fathers whose dedication and service positively impact their families, the organization, and the community.

In line with the continued commitment to promoting employee welfare, well-being, and professional empowerment among government personnel, the Provincial Association of Government Employees (PAGE) Bataan, under the leadership of President Lamberto Lopez and Vice President Liz Concepcion, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Bataan (PGB) and the Office of the Provincial Human Resources Management Officer, conducted the “SAFE, SOUND, AND SECURED: Maximizing Government Benefit Essentials” Orientation on May 26 at the Bunker Atrium.

The activity gathered representatives from various offices of the Provincial Government of Bataan and served as a meaningful platform to strengthen awareness and understanding of essential government benefits and social protection programs available to public servants. Representatives from GSIS, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG Fund discussed their services, latest programs, policy updates, and member support initiatives designed to further assist and protect government employees.

Through initiatives such as this, PAGE Bataan reinforces its commitment to fostering a more responsive, secured, and employee-centered workplace, as the Provincial Government of Bataan remains steadfast in nurturing a workforce that is empowered, protected, and better equipped to deliver quality public service.
