DSWD Central Luzon at Philippine Army, Magkatuwang sa Pagpapatupad ng NTF-ELCAC sa Bataan.

Bataan – Patuloy na pinagtitibay ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 3 – Central Luzon ang pakikipagtulungan nito sa Charlie (Courageous Fighter) Company, 69th Infantry Battalion, 7th Infantry Division, Philippine Army sa pagpapatupad ng iba’t ibang social development program interventions ng ahensya.

Ito ay alinsunod sa Executive Order No. 70 o Pagpapatibay sa Whole-of-Nation Approach tungo sa inklusibo at pangmatagalang kapayapaan, na nagresulta sa pagbuo ng National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) at sa paggamit ng National Peace Framework sa Gitnang Luzon.

Layunin ng programa na maisulong ang pagkakaroon ng tahimik, ligtas, at maunlad na pamayanan kung saan nangingibabaw ang kapayapaan at kaayusan, at natitiyak ang pagpapaunlad ng kabuhayan tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas. Sa ilalim nito, ang lahat ng sangay ng pamahalaan ay aktibong nakikibahagi upang maihatid ang mga pangunahing serbisyo, maipatupad ang social development programs, at mapalakas ang partisipasyon ng mga komunidad.

Bilang tugon, sa pamamagitan ng SWAD Bataan – Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), isinagawa ang Stress Management Training para sa mga kasapi ng Mt. View Upland Farmer SLPA. Layunin ng aktibidad na hindi lamang palakasin ang personal na kakayahan ng bawat kalahok ng programa, kundi higit na patatagin ang samahan at ugnayan ng kanilang asosasyon.

Isinagawa din ang capacity building activity patungkol sa tamang pamamahala ng stress na syang magagamit sa kanilang kasalukuyang proyektong cattle raising, iba’t ibang gawaing pangkabuhayan, at pang-araw-araw na suliranin ng mga miyembro. Sa pamamagitan ng mga pamamaraan tulad ng relaxation techniques, tamang pag paplano ng oras, at positive mindset, natutunan ng mga kalahok kung paano manatiling kalmado, malusog, at handa sa anumang sitwasyon.

Para sa asosasyon, ang training ay nagsilbing daan upang mapatatag ang pagkakaisa at kooperasyon ng bawat kasapi. Natutunan nilang suportahan ang isa’t isa at magsilbing sandigan sa panahon ng matinding pressure. Bukod dito, nagkaroon sila ng mas malinaw na pag-unawa na ang maayos na stress management ay susi upang maging mas produktibo, mas mahusay sa komunikasyon, at mas organisado sa kanilang kolektibong gawain.

Sa kabuuan, ang pagsasanay ay naglatag ng pundasyon para sa Mt. View Upland Farmer SLPA upang maging isang matatag at empowered na grupo, handang harapin ang iba’t ibang hamon ng kabuhayan at pamayanan nang may positibong pananaw at pagkakaisa.

Seguin (INF) PA at PVT Ma. Anna Ginellie B. Gamongan (INF) PA. Mula naman sa pamunuan ng DSWD Field Office III sa ngalan ni Dir. Venus F. Rebuldela, kinatawan si SLP Bataan Project Development Officer II Khristine D. Fernandez para sa nasabing aktibidad.

Ang inisyatibang ito ay patunay ng mas pinaigting na pagtutulungan ng DSWD at Philippine Army sa pagsusulong ng kapayapaan at kaunlaran sa mga pamayanan sa Gitnang Luzon.

69th Infantry (Cougar) Battalion, 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division, Philippine Army 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 “𝗛𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘄, 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗯𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻!” 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗿𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗦 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗜𝗜𝗜 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘆, 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻. An activity that brought together local leaders, fitness advocates, and residents to champion health and wellness.

With every stride that the troops ran symbolizes not only the pursuit of physical fitness but also the strengthening of unity and resilience among the people of Bataan.

The event underscored the shared vision of the Army and the province in building stronger community, promoting healthy lifestyle, and moving together toward fitness and progress.

On September 20, 2025, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Dinalupihan actively joined and participated in the International Coastal Clean-Up 2025. The activity was conducted in close coordination with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) of Dinalupihan.

The clean-up drive was carried out in collaboration with various uniformed personnel, including representatives from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) – Dinalupihan, the Dinalupihan Police Station, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Dinalupihan, and the Charlie Courageous Fighter Company, Philippine Army.

The initiative highlighted the spirit of bayanihan and environmental stewardship, emphasizing the collective responsibility of government agencies and uniformed services in preserving marine ecosystems and promoting a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable environment.

Through this meaningful participation, DILG Dinalupihan reaffirmed its commitment to environmental protection and community collaboration as part of the global movement to conserve and protect coastal resources for future generations.

Palauig, Zambales - The 69th Infantry "COUGAR" Battalion, Philippine Army, facilitated a youth-centered activity focused on Youth Empowerment, West Philippine Sea (WPS) Advocacy, Drug Awareness, and Fire Safety at the Bulwagan ng Dinalupihan, Barangay San Ramon, Dinalupihan, Bataan on September 19, 2025.

The event was conducted in collaboration with partner agencies, including the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), and the Local Government Unit of Dinalupihan headed by LGOO VI Bernardino P. Santiago, MLGOO of Dinalupihan.

As part of the program, the 69th Infantry "COUGAR" Battalion and BFP also organized a static display of weapons and equipment, providing the youth and stakeholders an opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of the Army's operational tools and assets. The display underscored the importance of familiarizing the public, especially the younger generation, with the role of the military in national defense and internal security. It also served as a platform to promote transparency, trust, and appreciation for the sacrifices of soldiers in safeguarding peace and protecting communities.

The initiative aimed to strengthen youth participation in nation-building by raising awareness on pressing Issues such as national security, substance abuse prevention, and disaster preparedness. Through lectures, Interactive discussions, demonstrations, and the static display, participants were equipped with knowledge and skills vital in fostering a safe and progressive community.

The 69th Infantry Battalion reaffirmed its commitment to supporting programs that empower the youth, enhance community resilience, and uphold peace and security in partnership with government agencies and stakeholders.
