BATAAN PNP WSN HOLDS “MBK SWIM” SESSION ON PNP CORE VALUES: MAKATAO

On October 30, 2025, at about 8:00 AM, members of the Bataan Police Provincial Office Women’s Support Network (WSN) participated in the MBK SWIM activity focusing on the PNP Core Value: “Makatao”, inspired by Ephesians 4:32 — “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

The session aimed to strengthen the moral and spiritual foundation of WSN members, encouraging compassion, respect, and kindness in both personal and professional service.

BATAAN PNP WSN PROMOTES COMMUNITY READINESS THROUGH LIFE-SAVING TRAINING

On October 21, 2025, PSMS HAZEL ROSE M ESTILLORE, member of the Bataan PNP Women’s Support Network (WSN), Dinalupihan MPS conducted a lecture on Basic Life Support, First Aid, and Disaster Preparedness and Awareness during the second day of the Two-Day Skills Enhancement Training for Barangay Officials and BPAT Members held at Bulwagan ng Bayan, Dinalupihan, Bataan.

The activity was attended by Barangay Captains, Peace and Order Committee Members, VAWC Desk Officers, Lupon Members, and Chief Tanods from the 46 barangays of Dinalupihan. The lecture aimed to strengthen the knowledge and practical skills of local leaders and force multipliers in responding effectively to emergencies and disasters, ensuring the safety and preparedness of their respective communities.

This initiative reflects the continuing commitment of the Bataan PNP WSN to empower communities through education, capacity-building, and proactive engagement in line with the directives of Acting Chief, PNP PLTGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ JR and PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN PONCE ROGELIO I PEÑONES JR.

BATAAN PNP WSN WELCOMES ORANI CDC STUDENTS IN COMMUNITY TOUR

On October 22, 2025, PCOL MARITES A SALVADORA, Provincial Director, and ATL, PNP WSN Regional together with members of the Bataan PNP Women’s Support Network (WSN), warmly welcomed daycare students, teachers, and parents from the Orani Child Development Centers (CDC) during their community educational tour at the Bataan Police Provincial Office.

The activity featured an engaging discussion on police-community relations and a static display of police uniforms, promoting safety awareness and appreciation of law enforcement among young learners. The WSN members also distributed snacks and drinks, making the visit more enjoyable for the children.

This initiative supports the community-centered policing advocacy of PNP Acting Chief PLTGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ JR and PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN PONCE ROGELIO I PEÑONES JR, and reflects PD PCOL SALVADORA’s commitment to nurturing positive values and strengthening community relations through the PNP WSN.

BATAAN PNP WSN PRIORITIZES WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN EVACUATION CENTERS

Under the leadership of PCOL MARITES A SALVADORA, Provincial Director, the Bataan Police Provincial Office (PPO), through its Women’s Support Network (WSN) and Women and Children Protection Desks (WCPDs), has continuously conducted monitoring and extended assistance to families affected by Severe Tropical Storm “Opong.”

Special attention has been given to the needs of women and children in evacuation centers, ensuring their safety, well-being, and access to essential support services during the crisis.

BATAAN PNP WSN EXTENDS SUPPORT TO FAMILIES AFFECTED BY STS “OPONG”

Members of the Bataan Police Provincial Office Women’s Support Network (WSN), in coordination with the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD), conducted monitoring activities and provided assistance to families staying at the evacuation center in response to Severe Tropical Storm “Opong.”

This initiative underscores the commitment of the PNP WSN Bataan to protect and support vulnerable sectors, particularly women and children, during disasters and emergencies.

BATAAN PNP WSN STRENGTHENS SUPPORT FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN

On September 25, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, the PNP Women’s Support Network (WSN) Bataan, represented by Regional PNP WSN ATL and PEMS ERLYNN M FONSECA, Bataan PNP WSN Member, under the leadership of PCOL MARITES A SALVADORA, Provincial Director, actively participated in the 3rd Quarter Joint Meeting of the Provincial Council for the Protection of Children (PCPC) and the Provincial Committee Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children (PCAT-VAWC) at The Bunker, Balanga City.

The meeting centered on feedback for capability-building initiatives, identifying training needs, strengthening programs for women and children’s protection, and planning upcoming activities and projects.

This participation highlights the proactive role of the PNP WSN in advancing the framework of PNP Acting Chief PLTGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ JR and supporting the community-centered policing initiatives of PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN PONCE ROGELIO I PEÑONES JR.

PCAT-VAWC Wraps Up 3-Day GBV & Exploitation Seminar in Bataan
The Provincial Committee on Anti-Trafficking and VAWC successfully concluded its 3-day seminar series on August 29, 2025, at The Pavilion, Bataan Tourism Center.

The PNP WSN Team led by PCPT RALAINE B MEDINA, Chief WCPD/Assistant TL Bataan PNP WSN, under the leadership of PCOL MARITES A SALVADORA, PD Bataan PPO/ATL Regional PNP WSN, actively joined the sessions to strengthen the capacity of frontliners on TIP, OSAEC, CSAEM, RA 9344, and RA 7610.

Resource speakers from the ORP, OPP, and CSWDO shared valuable insights, highlighting the importance of inter-agency collaboration in protecting women and children from violence and exploitation.

The CSWDO, in partnership with Bataan PNP WSN Team led by PCPT RALAINE B MEDINA, Assistant TL Bataan PNP WSN and Chief, WCPD, together with PEMS Erlynn M Fonseca, Member PNP WSN / WCPD PNCO, and PCpl Wilma A Condes, Secretariat/FJGAD PNCO, PCADU, joined the Values Re-orientation and Personality Development Seminar for CICL, CAR, and their Parents held on August 27, 2025 at Crown Royale Hotel, Balanga City.

This collaboration reflects the strong commitment of Bataan PPO under PCOL MARITES A SALVADORA, Provincial Director/ Asst. Team Leader of Regional PNP WSN, in supporting children in vulnerable situations and guiding families toward positive change.

The Provincial Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (PCAT-VAWC) successfully conducted Day 2 of its ongoing Gender-Based Violence and Exploitation Seminar Series at The Pavilion, Bataan Tourism Center.

The session, organized under the leadership of PCPT RALAINE B. MEDINA, Chief of WCPD/Assistant Team Leader of Bataan PNP WSN, and guided by the directive of PCOL MARITES A. SALVADORA, Provincial Director of Bataan PPO, focused on enhancing participants’ knowledge and skills in addressing Trafficking in Persons (TIP), Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC), and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials (CSAEM).

Key presentations were delivered by notable resource speakers, including PMAJ ROSELYN C. ASPARO, Chief of HRAO/Team Leader of Bataan PNP WSN.

The event reinforced inter-agency collaboration and highlighted the collective commitment to creating a safer and more responsive environment for vulnerable sectors in the province.
