On September 23, 2026, Barangay Pagbennecan, Barangay Butubut Oeste, and Barangay Pa-o jointly conducted a capacity-building training program for their Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams (BHERTs) at the Municipal Health Office Conference Hall. The session aimed to improve the knowledge, skills, and competencies of community frontline health workers in disease prevention, health promotion, and emergency response.

• Registration and Accreditation of Barangay Health Workers
• Community Disaster Risk Reduction Management in Health
• Notifiable Diseases
• Creation of Lactation Support Groups
• Breastfeeding
• Family Planning
• Barangay Health Station Mandatory Equipment
• Crucial Health Concerns: Tuberculosis, Leprosy, Immunization, and the Danger Signs of Pregnancy

One of the highlights of the activity was the assessment and return demonstration on Vital Signs Monitoring and Effective Communication, where participants showcased their skills and commitment to providing quality health services to their respective constituents.
