Please be informed that system flushing will be conducted today May 04, 2026 starting at 1:00 PM. During this time, residents in the following barangays may experience low to no water supply while maintenance activities are ongoing:

📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY: WATER RATE ADJUSTMENT 💧

To our valued consumers:

Please be informed that the updated water rates have been officially approved following the public hearing held on February 14, 2025. These adjustments are authorized by the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) and adopted through Board Resolution No. 11, Series of 2026.

📅 Effective Date: April 2026 consumption
🧾 Reflected in Billing: May 2026

Along with the new rates, a 2% Franchise Tax / Pass-on Charge will also be implemented in compliance with LWUA Memorandum Circular No. 004-22.

We encourage everyone to review the updated rate schedule shown in the posted notice for full details.

There will be no water supply in the service area of Balaoan WD . Calungbuyan, Masupe, Ar-arampang, Bungol, Apatut, & Camiling.

Water supply will be restored immediately after the repair.

Please be advised to always fill your water containers/tank when water is available to ensure availability of water during times of water service interruptions.

Today, March 23, 2026, the Balaoan Water District proudly joins the global celebration of World Water Day with the theme:
“Isang Agos para sa Karapatan at Pagkakapantay-pantay.”

In unity and commitment to safe, accessible, and equitable water for all, BWD employees actively participated in meaningful activities to mark this special day:

The day started with an energizing fun walk from the BWD Office to our pumping stations—promoting health, teamwork, and awareness.

Employees worked hand-in-hand in cleaning all pumping stations, reinforcing our dedication to maintaining safe and reliable water systems for the community.

Together, let us continue to protect our water resources and ensure that every drop flows toward equality, sustainability, and a better future for all. 💙💦

📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY
In line with Memorandum Circular No. 114, directing all government agencies and instrumentalities to strictly adopt energy conservation protocols, the Balaoan Water District is fully supporting and implementing these measures.

As part of our commitment to energy efficiency, we will be adopting a Flexible Work Arrangement effective immediately:
🗓 Office Schedule:
• Monday to Thursday – Office operations (Open to serve you from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Friday – Work From Home arrangement (No on-site transactions)
🔧 Maintenance Department:
• Please be advised that our Maintenance Team will remain operational even on Fridays to ensure continuous delivery of essential services and to promptly address any concerns.

We encourage everyone to plan your visits accordingly. For urgent concerns during Fridays, especially related to maintenance, you may still reach out to us through our official contact channels.
