Laying the groundwork for resilient communities in Baliguian! 📌🌱

The ACT and MCT of Baliguian are actively preparing PCRP information posters for installation across the municipality's 17 barangays in anticipation of the upcoming barangay rollout of the program.

These IEC materials highlight the Community Resilience Implementation Process (CRIP), PCRP Guiding Principles, and the PCRP Project Development Objectives (PDO), providing communities with essential information to better understand and engage in the program.

The Philippine Community Resilience Project (PCRP) aims to strengthen community capacities for participatory resilience planning and increase access to resilient investments in vulnerable areas. Through these efforts, communities are empowered to identify, prioritize, and implement initiatives that address climate and disaster risks while promoting sustainable local development.

One community at a time, we build a stronger, safer, and more resilient Baliguian.

In support of the Philippine Community Resilience Project (PCRP) and its goal of strengthening community resilience to climate change, disaster risks, and other vulnerabilities, the ACT and MCT of Baliguian actively participated in the simultaneous coastal clean-up drive together with the LGU offices headed by the MENRO and other stakeholders.

Held today, June 11, 2026, along the coastal area of Poblacion, Baliguian, Zamboanga del Norte, this collective activity reflects our shared commitment to environmental protection, disaster risk reduction, and community empowerment. Through collaboration and the spirit of bayanihan, we continue to work towards safer, cleaner, and more resilient coastal communities.

Through teamwork, volunteerism, and the enduring spirit of bayanihan, this activity highlights our shared commitment to education and community development. Today’s sessions focused on Procurement Procedures, Finance Procedures, PCRP Implementation Arrangements, and the Fundamentals of Presentation and Facilitation. Truly a meaningful learning experience that strengthened our knowledge, skills, and readiness in delivering our roles and responsibilities effectively.
