11 nations. One region. A thousand stories, connected by the sea. ๐
Across Southeast Asia, our lives may be shaped by different traditions, languages, and cultures, but we share a common humanity and a sea that has connected our peoples for generations.
Seas Unbroken celebrates this enduring connection through the universal languages of music and film. From the everyday moments that define us to the cultural traditions that shape our identities, it brings together the diverse voices and stories of Southeast Asia in one cinematic expression of unity.
Featuring the powerful vocals of Sofronio Vasquez and the Young Voices of the Philippines (YVP), this music video brings together filmmakers from all 11 ASEAN Member States to capture the rhythms of everyday life, the richness of our cultures, and the shared experiences that transcend borders.
With an original song composed, written, and arranged by Von De Guzmรกn, Seas Unbroken offers a moving reminder that the sea is more than a geographical divide. It is a living link between our peoples, a witness to our shared histories, a bridge between our cultures, and a symbol of the connections that continue to unite us.
Because beyond our differences, we belong to one region, share a common humanity, and are bound by stories that know no borders.
The sea connects us. Our stories unite us. Our voices bring us together. ๐๐ฌ
