The Department of Environment and Natural Resources - Environmental Management Bureau Regional Office 1 (DENR - EMB RO1) conducted an inspection at the Municipal Solid Waste Management Facility of Bantay, Ilocos Sur.

The Local Government Unit of Bantay thru the Local Chief Executive Hon. Samuel C. Parilla and Vice Mayor Hon. Samuel G.F. Parilla, II donated the shredder machine from the The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur as an appreciation to Barangay Cabalanggan headed by Punong Barangay Janelyn Peruna for being the first ever barangay of Bantay to be awarded as the 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙙 𝙒𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚 𝙀𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 (𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡) by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources - Environmental Management Bureau Regional Office 1.
