The award recognizes the office for meeting the criteria on accuracy, timeliness, reliability, and compliance with accounting and budgeting rules and regulations.

This recognition reflects the dedication and hard work of the Municipal Accounting Office in ensuring proper, accurate, and reliable financial reporting in the Municipality of Banton.

Isang bagong oportunidad para sa kabuhayan ng ating mga magsasaka! Sa tulong ng Department of Agriculture – Special Area for Agricultural Development (DA-SAAD) MIMAROPA, ipinagkaloob ang ₱1.48 milyong Ready-to-Lay Chicken (Egg) Production Project sa Masikap Farmers Association ng Barangay Tan-ag, Banton, Romblon noong October 13, 2026.

Inaasahang makatutulong ang proyektong ito sa pagpapalakas ng lokal na suplay ng itlog at pagbibigay ng dagdag na pagkakakitaan sa mga miyembro ng samahan.

Maraming salamat sa DA-SAAD MIMAROPA sa patuloy na pagsuporta sa mga magsasaka at sa pagpapaunlad ng kabuhayan sa ating isla!

Isinagawa ngayong Oktubre 22, 2026 ang pamamahagi ng bigas sa kabuuang 329 benepisyaryo sa Bayan ng Banton mula sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Romblon sa ilalim ng Local Government Support Fund (LGSF).

Kabilang sa mga nakiisa sa pamamahagi si Governor’s Help Desk Officer Dutchie Faigao at ilang kawani ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Banton.

Taos-puso ang pasasalamat ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Banton sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Romblon para sa tulong na ito na makatutulong sa pang-araw-araw na pangangailangan ng ating mga kababayan.

The Local Government Unit of Banton informs the public that Banton Boulevard will be temporarily closed to motorcycles and other vehicles from October 20–30, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The road will be used as the driving test area for the participants of the TESDA Driving Course – NC II.

Motorists are advised to take alternative routes and observe traffic rules for everyone's safety and convenience.

The Local Government Unit of Banton is sharing this job opportunity for interested and qualified applicants under the research project of the Integrated Small-Island Program on Livelihoods and Nutrition for Development and Sustainability in the Philippines.

The project is looking for FOUR DATA COLLECTORS who will conduct interviews with fishers, farmers, processors, and traders in Banton as part of the study on selected agricultural and fishery commodities.

📌 Qualifications:

= Graduate of BS Fisheries, BS/BA Economics, or any other Social Science degree program
= Preferably a resident of Banton
= Willing to undergo training on data collection
= With good communication skills and positive work values and ethics

Duration: One (1) month
Salary Grade: SG 7–2
Deadline of Application: October 28, 2026
