🚨 NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS SCHOOL SAFETY DRILL 2026 🚨

ACTIVE ATTACK RESPONSE DRILL

Banton National High School conducted an Active Attack Response Drill as part of the National Simultaneous School Safety Drill 2026, aimed at strengthening the preparedness of learners, teachers, school personnel, and responders in dealing with a potential violent threat within the school environment.

The activity provided participants with an opportunity to practice appropriate emergency actions, including rapid recognition of a threat, seeking immediate safety, securing themselves in a safe location, following established school protocols, and coordinating with emergency responders.

The drill emphasizes the importance of remaining calm, alert, and responsive during critical incidents. It also strengthens coordination among the school administration, MDRRMO, law enforcement, emergency responders, and other concerned stakeholders.

📢 PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT | DIRECTORY OF EVACUATION CENTERS IN BANTON

To ensure the safety and preparedness of every Bantonanon during typhoons, natural disasters, and emergencies, the Office of the MDRRMO - Banton releases the official list of Permanent and Designated Evacuation Centers across our municipality.

🟢 PERMANENT EVACUATION CENTERS – Primary evacuation facilities equipped to shelter affected families.
🟠 DESIGNATED EVACUATION CENTERS – Alternate facilities (Barangay Halls, Multi-Purpose Buildings, Covered Courts, and Churches) ready to accommodate residents when needed.

📌 REMINDER TO ALL RESIDENTS:

Know the nearest evacuation center in your barangay.

Prepare your Go-Bag (emergency food, water, medicine, important documents, flashlight, and first-aid kit).

Always follow early evacuation orders from your BDRRMC and local authorities.
