The election period is here, and that means strict guidelines on SK Fund usage are in effect!

Pursuant to 𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙀𝙇𝙀𝘾 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙉𝙤. 10999, the release, disbursement, or expenditure of 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐊 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐓𝐋𝐘 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐇𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 (𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲) 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 (𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲).

❌ No release or spending of SK funds during the election period.
❌ No projects, activities, or financial assistance using SK funds within the ban period.
❌ Violations may lead to legal consequences under the Omnibus Election Code.
📌 Are There Exceptions? ✅
Certain expenditures are still permitted under COMELEC Resolution No. 11060, including:
✔️ Calamities and Disaster Response
✔️ Routine Operating Expenses (e.g., utilities, office supplies, transport costs)
✔️ Salaries of government personnel
✔️ Projects exempted under Section 261(v) of the Omnibus Election Code

The ongoing weather conditions have left our playing facilities unsafe, with the persistent rain making it impossible to ensure a secure environment for everyone involved. As much as we wanted to see your hard work and talent shine on the court, we cannot compromise your safety. The risk of injury or accidents caused by these conditions is simply too great, and your well-being is our top priority.

We understand the disappointment this news brings, especially to the players who have trained so diligently and to the teams who were excited to showcase their skills and sportsmanship. Please know that this decision was made with the deepest respect for all your efforts and dedication.
