TRACING THE ROOTS OF SUMADER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Every school has a story—a story built not only through buildings and classrooms, but through the dedication of teachers, school leaders, parents, learners, and community members who came before us.
As we celebrate and preserve the history of Sumader Elementary School, we are reaching out to our Sumader-Camguidan-Payao elders, retired teachers, former school heads, alumni, parents, former learners, and longtime residents who may hold memories, records, photographs, or stories about the early years of our school.
We would like to know:
📌 Who were the FIRST-EVER teachers of Sumader Elementary School?
📌 Who were the early principals, head teachers, or school leaders?
📌 When was Sumader Elementary School officially established?
📌 Where was the school originally located?
📌 Who were among its first learners?
📌 What were the important events and milestones during its early years?
📌 Are there old documents, appointment papers, class pictures, school records, yearbooks, memorabilia, or photographs that can help verify its history?
We welcome stories, memories, and personal accounts, especially those that can be supported by photographs, documents, or other historical records.
Our goal is to document, cross-check, and validate these accounts so that the history of Sumader Elementary School can be preserved accurately for future generations.

Even the smallest piece of information may help us connect the missing pieces of our school's past.
Before there were classrooms, there were pioneers.
Before there were generations of learners, there were teachers who opened the first doors of education.
Before Sumader became the school we know today, there were people who dreamed, served, taught, and built its foundation.
Let us trace the roots.
Let us preserve the memories.
Let us uncover the story.
And most of all, let us honor the pioneers of Sumader Elementary School.
The history of our school belongs to all of us—and together, we can keep its story alive.
