🌍🐾 WORLD RABIES DAY 2026 – STRONGER TOGETHER! 🐕💉
Every 28 September, the world unites to say: Rabies is 100% preventable—and together, we can eliminate it!

This year’s theme, “Stronger Together”, reminds us that no one can end rabies alone. It takes pet owners, barangay leaders, veterinarians, health workers, teachers, and local government working hand-in-hand to protect our families and animals.

✅ What you can do today?
🐶 Vaccinate your dogs and cats – it saves lives!
🧼 Wash bites and scratches immediately with soap and running water for 15 minutes, then seek medical care.
📢 Share accurate information about rabies prevention in your community.
🤝 Support local vaccination drives and report stray or sick animals to your Barangay, Agriculture or Health Office.

In our municipality, we remain committed to free anti-rabies vaccination, surveillance, and education—because every life matters, human and animal alike.

💬 Tag a neighbor, friend, or pet owner who needs to hear this. Let’s build a rabies-free community—together! 💪🐕❤️

Attention Batad Swine Raisers! 🐖🚨

Keep your pigs — and your livelihood — safe. Please follow these simple but important biosecurity steps today:

•Limit visitors and secure farm gates. Only allow essential personnel.
•Disinfect footwear, vehicles, and tools before entering the pens.
•Use farm-only clothing and boots; change clothes after handling other pigs.
•Isolate new or returning pigs for at least 2 weeks before mixing them with the herd.
•Keep feed and water clean; store feed off the ground and away from pests.
•Report sick animals right away — early action saves animals and money.

Protect your income: Get swine insurance. It helps cover losses from disease and gives peace of mind to your family.

Need help? The Municipal Agriculture Office Batad is here for free advice, on-farm checks, and insurance guidance. Message us or drop by at our office.

Together, we can keep Batad’s swine healthy. Share this post to help your neighbors stay safe! 🙌
