The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Batangas convened the Municipal Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Coordinating Board (MCCB) of the Municipality of Padre Garcia on 15 June 2026 at the Municipal Hall of Padre Garcia, Batangas to discuss preparations, terms of reference of the members of MCCB, operational concerns and budgetary requirements for the conduct of the 2027 CBMS.

READ | PSA joins Kalayaan Government Programs and Services Fair; brings civil registration, National ID services closer to Filipinos
In celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) brought civil registration and National ID services closer to our kababayans through the Kalayaan Government Programs and Services Fair.
Held from 06 to 07 June 2026 at Rizal Park, the fair gathered frontline services from various government agencies, making them more accessible to Filipinos.
Services from the PSA included copy issuance of civil registry documents, along with National ID registration, printing of National ID in paper format, updating of demographic information, and assistance in accessing the Digital National ID.
During the fair, a total of 370 clients were served for civil registry services, with 460 transactions in total. For the National ID, a total of 147 were registered, with 304 National IDs in paper format printed, 27 requests for updating accommodated, and 8 were assisted in accessing the Digital National ID.
This initiative forms part of the continuing efforts of the PSA to make government services more accessible, efficient, and inclusive, in line with the overall directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Livestock and Poultry Surveys
The 3rd Level Training on the Livestock and Poultry Survey (LPS): Establishment and Livestock and Poultry Survey (LPS): Household was conducted on 16–17 June 2026 at the Provincial Statistical Office Batangas, Citimart Caedo Plaza, Brgy. Calicanto, Batangas City. The training aimed to equip the hired Statistical Researchers with the knowledge and skills necessary to properly conduct the survey operations and ensure the collection of accurate and reliable data.
Field operations will be conducted from 18 to 30 June 2026.

Conducted on 11 June 2026, the activity provided participants with accurate information on HIV prevention, addressed common misconceptions, and encouraged voluntary HIV testing as part of responsible and preventive healthcare.

Headline inflation rate for all income households in Batangas decreased to 4.8 percent in May 2026, from 5.2 percent in April 2026. In May 2025, the inflation rate was lower at 1.2 percent.

The headline inflation rate for the bottom 30% of income households in Batangas Province slightly decreased to 4.8 percent in May 2026, from 4.9 percent in April 2026. In comparison, the inflation rate in May 2025 was lower at 1.1 percent.
