BatMC - WCPU team successfully conducted the 4Rs (Recognize, Record, Report, Refer) Tranining last March 23, 2026, empowering patticipants with vital skills to properly identify, document, and respond to cases involving women and children.
This initiative highlights our continued commitment to strengthen ing protection mechanisms and fostering a responsive, gender-sensitive environment for all.

Purple Power in Action 💜
In celebration of National Women's Month, Batangas Medical Center proudly stood in solidarity for gender equality by wearing purple every Wednesday throughout the month of March.
This simple yet meaningful gesture reflects our collective commitment to empower women, promote inclusivity, and support the ongoing pursuit of equal rights and opportunities for all.

Empowering protection. Strengthening response. Stronger together 💜
On February 25, 2026, BATMC-WCPU successfully conducted the Presentation of Protocols and Procedures for Handling Abuse Cases at the Cancer Center Conference Room.
The activity was attended by participants from different departments of Batangas Medical Center, highlighting the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in responding to abuse cases.
Through collaboration, proper coordination, and strengthened knowledge of protocols, we reaffirm our commitment to providing compassionate, timely, and effective care for women and children in need of protection.

BatMC Women and Children Protection Unit served as resource speakers for an orientation on the 4Rs: Recognize, Record, Report, and Refer, held at the Municipality of Agoncillo, enhancing frontline response, inter-agency coordination, and community awareness to better protect women and children.

BatMC Women and Children Protection Unit conducted and facilitated a lay forum on Republic Act 9262 - Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children as part of the 18th Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, strengthening public awareness on protection, prevention, and support for women and children.

BatMC Women and Children Protection Unit, in collaboration with the Calatagan LGU successfully conducted an orientation on the 4Rs: Recognize, Record, Report, and Refer to enhance the skills of frontline providers and strengthen inter-agency coordination.
This initiative supports our shared commitment to protecting women and children, and ending violence in the community.

BatMC Women and Children Protection Unit actively participated in the 17th Ako Para Sa Bata Conference held on November 20–21, 2025, at the M.I.C.E. Center, Quezon City.
This participation strengthens WCPU’s commitment to child protection, advocacy, and continuous learning to better respond to emerging risks faced by children online. 💙🛡️

Gender and Development (GAD) - BatMC successfully conducted a Benchmarking Activity with Maria L. Eleazar General Hospital (MLEGH) last October 29, 2025.
Through meaningful discussions and collaborative engagement, both institutions gained valuable insights that will enhance GAD programs and initiatives, reinforcing commitment to providing inclusive and compassionate healthcare to all.
