GSIS recorded a net income of ₱43.6 billion in the first quarter, a 170% increase year‑on‑year. GSIS released ₱49.5 billion in claims and benefits during the quarter to support members and pensioners. The average monthly old‑age pension rose to ₱18,874.58, giving retirees more than ₱1,000 extra per month. Total assets grew to nearly ₱2 trillion, reinforcing the fund’s long‑term stability.
