Bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng ika-sampung anibersaryo ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), inilunsad ang Kapihan sa DICT kasabay ng pagbubukas ng National ICT Month 2026 na may temang "Isang Dekadang Digital: Konektado sa Puso at Serbisyo", ngayong 01 Hunyo 2026.

Sa pangunguna nina Atty. Carlo Paolo P. Murcia (Officer-in-Charge) at Dir. Joseph L. Teston (Assistant Regional Director) ng DICT CALABARZON Regional Office, naging sentro ng talakayan ng Kapihan sa Region IV-A ang pagdiriwang ng isang dekada ng makabago, inklusibo, at makataong serbisyong digital para sa bawat Pilipino. Binigyang-diin din ang pangunahing pilar ng adbokasiya ng rehiyon simula sa pagpapalawak ng koneksyon sa pamamagitan ng patuloy na paglalatag ng maaasahang imprastraktura ng komunikasyon sa buong rehiyon. Kaakibat nito ang pagpapalakas ng digital na kakayahan upang magbigay ng sapat na kaalaman at kasanayan sa teknolohiya para sa mga mamamayan nang sa gayon ay makasabay ang lahat sa makabagong panahon. Higit sa lahat, isinusulong ang paglalapit ng serbisyong may malasakit upang matiyak na ang mga digital na solusyon ng pamahalaan ay mararamdaman ng lahat at walang Pilipinong maiiwan sa digital na pag-unlad.

Ang makabuluhang talakayan ng Kapihan sa DICT Region IV-A ay dinaluhan ng Philippine Information Agency CALABARZON, Philippine Information Agency - Batangas, Radyo Totoo/ Spirit FM Radio Station, Brigada Batangas, Dyaryo Veritas, Frontpage Online News, Balisong Channel, Kabayan News, Batangas Provincial Public Information Office at Batangas City Public Information Office.

Ipinapakita ng pagtitipong ito na ang ICT ay hindi lamang usapin ng teknolohiya, kundi ng pagkakaisa at tapat na paglilingkod na nakatutok sa kapakanan ng publiko. Ang lahat ng tagumpay na ito ay bunga ng pakikipagtulungan sa mga katuwang na Pambansang Ahensya ng Pamahalaan (NGAs), Lokal na Pamahalaan (LGUs), Estado ng Kolehiyo at Unibersidad (SUCs), at maging ang mga pribadong organisasyon. Ang pakikipagkapit-bisig at pakikipagtulungan mula pa noon ang tunay na nagpabilis sa paghahatid ng digital na transpormasyon at sa pag-abot ng ating iisang mithiin para sa buong rehiyon.

Ang nagdaang sampung taon ay simula pa lamang ng mas malawak na transpormasyon. Baon ang dedikasyon at pusong naglilingkod, buong-lakas na haharapin ng DICT CALABARZON ang mga susunod pang hamon ng makabagong panahon upang ihatid ang mas inklusibong digital na bukas para sa bawat mamamayan ng rehiyon.

Huwag palampasin ang mga kwentong digital na konektado sa puso at serbisyo mula sa Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao.

The program brought together public servants from various departments and district hospitals across the province. In alignment with national initiatives on digital governance and administrative efficiency, the training equipped participants with critical technological skills essential for today’s government workforce. To ensure a seamless and hands-on learning experience, the DICT provided dedicated internet connectivity throughout the event, enabling participants to engage in real-time practical applications of core digital competencies.

Focused on four key areas of modern public administration, the training covered workflow streamlining and real-time collaboration through the Google Workspace ecosystem, as well as advanced documentation, data management, and reporting using Google Docs and Google Sheets. Participants also explored the integration of Artificial Intelligence to optimize day-to-day administrative tasks and concluded the training with Canva sessions for developing professional visual communication materials, official presentations, and public information campaigns.

We commend all participants for their active engagement and commitment to continuous professional development. By embracing these digital tools, the workforce further strengthens its dedication to becoming a more resilient, efficient, and future-ready public service sector.
