🀝 VALUES RESTORATION PROGRAM | VALUE OF THE WEEK: UNITY 🀝

Unity is the strength we gain when we choose to work together, understand one another, and support a common purpose. In our daily lives, unity helps build stronger relationships, promotes cooperation, and allows us to overcome challenges that may be difficult to face alone.

Whether at home, in the workplace, or in our community, being united teaches us that every individual has an important role to play. When we set aside differences and work together with respect and understanding, we create an environment where everyone can grow, succeed, and contribute to a better future.

As we continue our journey of Values Restoration, may we always remember that true strength is not found in standing alone, but in standing together as one.

β€œAlone we can do so little; together, we can achieve so much.”

Let us live with UNITYβ€”one purpose, one commitment, and one heart. ❀️🀝

β€œEmpowered Communicators, Engaged Public: Promoting Responsible Messaging in Jail Management”

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) proudly celebrates the 15th Community Relations Service Month, a meaningful milestone that highlights our continuing commitment to building bridges, strengthening public trust, and fostering meaningful partnerships with the communities we serve.

As jail officers and public servants, we are not only custodians of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL)β€”we are also communicators of the Jail Bureau. Every message we convey carries the responsibility to speak with truth, transparency, integrity, and purpose.

purpose.
At the heart of Community Relations Service is the belief that every person deserves dignity, fairness, and respect. Through responsible communication, we help correct misconceptions, strengthen partnerships, inspire hope, and create pathways toward second chances and successful reintegration.

πŸ“’ BUKAS SA PUBLIKO, PANTAY SA LAHAT.
May this celebration renew our commitment to a BJMP that speaks with truth, serves with integrity, safeguards dignity, and communicates with both strength and heart.

🌱 VALUES RESTORATION PROGRAM | VALUE OF THE WEEK: REFINEMENT IN HUMAN DEALINGS 🀝

Good human dealings begin with respect, kindness, understanding, and genuine concern for others. The way we treat people reflects the values we carry within us. By practicing courtesy, empathy, patience, and fairness in our daily interactions, we help create an environment where everyone feels respected and valued.

β€œTreat every person with respect, for kindness in our dealings can leave a lasting impact.”

May this week’s value remind us that how we treat others can inspire them to become better versions of themselves.

πŸ“š R.E.H.A.S. PROJECT – BACK TO SCHOOL LAUNCHING πŸŽ“

Bayawan District Jail proudly participated in the R.E.H.A.S. Project – Back to School Launching (Rehabilitation and Empowerment through Holistic Academic and Skills Program) held on September 30, 2026, at the 2nd Floor Library, NORSU Main Campus I.

The activity was attended by our very own supportive and dynamic Bayawan District Jail Acting Jail Warden JINSP LORLYN A COLOT, JO2 Eunice T. Gombio, UWDO; and JO1 Rica Dawn M. Macapangal, CEBB-in-Charge, together with other jail unit representatives and representatives from NORSU.

The R.E.H.A.S. Project highlights the importance of education as a vital part of rehabilitation, personal development, and successful reintegration of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) into the community. Through continuing college education, PDL are given meaningful opportunities to learn, develop their skills, pursue their dreams, and build a better future.

Indeed, education opens doors to new possibilities and gives hope for a second chance. πŸŽ“πŸ“–

Changing lives, building a safer nation.

On this International Day of PEACE, let us remember that Peace begins with a choice we make, with the words we speak, the understanding we extend, and the hands to reach out to.

Because Peace is not just a day we celebrate. It is a future we build together.

Let's choose dialogue over division, understanding over conflict, and hope over fear.
