Mao ne ang mga deadlines nga diin wala ta mohatag ug penalties:

✅BUSINESS PERMITS - on or before JANUARY 20, 2026.
✅CEDULA - on or before FEBRUARY 28, 2026.
✅RPT (Buhis sa balay, yuta ug machineries)- on or before MARCH 31, 2026.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️

LGU Baybay City and the City Treasurer's Office will be giving 20% discount on your real property taxes (taxes on land, building and machineries). This tax discount will be until March 31, 2026. Pay your taxes now to avail the said discount !!!

CNA (Collective Negotiation Agreement) Bonus in the Philippine government is a one-time cash incentive for eligible employees, awarded for achieving performance targets at lower costs and improving agency operations through efficiency, funded from savings in MOOE (Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses). It's a recognition of collaborative efforts, rewarding both management and rank-and-file workers when their agency successfully implements CNAs and meets savings goals, typically released annually around December.

December 17, 2025— Today, BAYBAY CITY- LGU will be giving cash incentives (2nd half of 2025) for our beloved DepEd personnel of Baybay City Division.

Also, LGU will be donating learning materials such as Printer, Flat Screen TV, speakers and others for the teachers to be more productive with their work in enhancing desired knowledge and expertise for our dear learners.

Big thanks to our city mayor, Hon. Jose Carlos Cari for this great initiative.

Tacloban City– The 2nd Regional LGU- Public Financial Management Summit held at Radiant Hotel, Tacloban City on November 25, 2025. The champions of PFM coming from the different Local Government Units, the Provincial government units and all government entities in the entire region (Region VIII) gathered together with due recognition from the Department of Budget and Management, DOF-BLGF, DEPDev, DILG for actively engaging the Public Financial Management assessment.

Representatives from the City Treasurer's Office, Mariboy M. Solis; City Budget Office, Mary Joy M. Pesodas; IASO, Loida N. Dapiton received the award with great pride and honor establishing the commitment to be the best public servant as Baybay City's transparency, accountability and sustainability through Public Financial Management CHAMPIONS ‼️

A very warm welcome embraces the tax campaign group as they continue the info drive campaign at Barangay Mapgap ! With the vibrant leadeship of Punong Barangay, Hon. Jose L. Mangaya-ay, the people of the barangay has eagerly listen while conducting the tax campaign.

With the barangay's participation and active involvement - questions and queries of the people has been answered yet giving importance on paying desired taxes such as building taxes, business taxes and real property taxes.

As part of our growing effort and reaching out to our community by providing necessary information about taxation, issuance of building permits, business permits and others. - The City Treasurer's initiative and with the guidance of ouf local government unit, we have to stay committed as a public servant to get in touch with our people. JUST IN | Tax Campaign — Barangay Plaridel

Today, the tax campaign group of LGU Baybay City kicked off their last week of August of spontaneous public information at Barangay Plaridel, Baybay City.

It was overwhelming to share our thoughts about taxation with a larger number of attendees. With this public information –LGU Baybay City was very happy to hear and answer all the questions as the people of the Barangay were very participative before, during and after the discussion.

PAYOUT OF CASH INCENTIVES | LGU SCHOLARS

Last Sunday, August 17, 2025 ▬ Our selected junior and high school students recieved their cash incentives/ monthly allowance for this year 2025 (Jun-Aug) and an additional 1,000 pesos intended for school requirements/ miscellaneous fees and other school fees.

This initiative of the LGU helped our students to lessen their burden financially when going to school. A small amount recieved means a lot to them especially to those students who are really in need ▬ together, as we firmly stand in sustaining educational productivity in Baybay City, this program helps our young minds to be more committed and determined with their studies.

As part of the growing economic impact of the region— the Department of Economy, Planning and Development (DEPDev) formerly NEDA,organized a Workshop which centered on the Financial Management of the different agencies.

BAYBAY CITY LGU was recognized and invited as one of the Planning Committee together with DBM, DOF, BLGF and other institutions which constitutes financial matters.

The City Treasure's Office initiative on fiscal handlings and financial literacy has made a great impact in the regional level. Thus, represented by the Public Financial Management Secretariat of city LGU together with CBO, IAS, Accounting staff. Indeed, the contribution to different financial management of the LGU's representatives was a great help to the region's economic status.
