On the afternoon of 11 April 2026. Franciscan College of the Immaculate Conception ROTCU Unit held its 14th training day at the FCIC Open court. The activity was conducted under the leadership of MAJ GERARDO D TIU JR PA (RES), with the support of the ROTC coordinator Mrs. Glen E. Visto MPA, under the supervision of Sgt Arjhune P Jalop PA (Res). Together with the training staffs, GMA’s and Advance officers.
The training program began with the formation of cadets, followed by attendance checking and rank inspection. Each participant was properly aligned and assessed to ensure discipline, preparedness, and adherence to standards. This initial phase set a structured and professional tone for the entire activity. After the formation, the cadets proceeded with the practical examination, where they demonstrated their skills and knowledge in applied tasks. This hands-on assessment allowed evaluators to measure the cadets’ competence and understanding of the lessons previously discussed. Upon completion of the practical exam, the group departed to their designated room to prepare for the written examination. In this phase, cadets were given the opportunity to further demonstrate their comprehension through a series of questions that tested both theoretical knowledge and critical thinking. Once the written exam concluded, the cadets moved to the open court for the next set of activities. A short break was then given to allow everyone to rest and regain energy before proceeding to more physically demanding tasks. The training resumed with ceremonial drills and the graduation flow, where cadets practiced coordinated movements and formal procedures. This segment emphasized discipline, teamwork, and precision, reflecting the importance of unity and professionalism. Following the drills, the cadets were tasked with polishing the area, promoting cleanliness, responsibility, and respect for their environment. This activity reinforced the value of order and accountability within the training program. The program concluded with a final attendance check and accounting to ensure all participants were present and properly documented. Important announcements were then delivered, highlighting key reminders and acknowledgments. Finally, the training officially ended with the dismissal of all cadets, marking the successful completion of the program.
