BAYBAY CITY - Aarangkada na sa darating na lunes, May 11, 2026, ang 20-day implementation ng Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program sa buong lungsod ng Baybay.

Aabot sa 600 na mga incoming grade 2 learners at kanilang mga magulang, gayundin ang aabot sa 240 na mga college students mula sa Visayas State University at Franciscan College of the Immaculate Conception, ang inaasahang makikinabang sa programa ngayong taon.

Isasagawa ang mga tutorial sessions at parenting sessions sa mga participating elementary school sa lungsod ng Baybay. Inaasahan rin ang pagsagawa ng Kick-Off Activity katuwang ang City Government of Baybay at iba pang partners, para sa pagsisimula ng implementasyon ng programa.

Mababatid na ang Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program ay isang inisyatibo at flagship program ng pamahalaan na naglalayong matulungan ang mga college students sa kanilang edukasyon sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng educational assistance kapalit sa kanilang pagsasagawa ng tutorial sessions sa mga incoming grade 2 learners na nahihirapang magbasa at parenting sessions naman para sa mga magulang ng mga ito.
