Call for Proposals: Overseas Research Grant Program - Asia
Kurita Water and Environment Foundation (KWEF) supports scientists of Asian nationality who are conducting research in their own countries. The focal research area is water-related Environmental Science and Technology. Research subjects related to water environment in the applicant's country can be applied. Examples of appropriate research subjects are; water/wastewater treatment, water quality analysis, sustainability of water environment sanitation, water ecosystem, agricultural water use, industrial wastewater treatment.

Research programs aimed primarily at generating business profit will not be adopted. Scientists who are conducting research in Japan should apply the domestic research grants in Japan instead of this overseas research program. An important note is that the grant money should be used for the direct expenses of the research program, such as the purchase of equipment and reagent, outsourcing analysis costs, travel costs associated with fieldwork. If necessary, an appropriate charge for the institute overhead expenses can be taken from the grant money.

The Commission on Higher Education hereby invites interested parties to the 2024 Khon Kaen University (KKU) Scholarship. KKU is considered to be one of Thailand's top research universities.

The 2024 KKU Scholarship is offered to nationals of ASEAN and GMS countries. This scholarship offers an opportunity for international students to enroll and to pursue a Masteral and Doctoral degree at KKU, Thailand.

Application and submission of requirements run until 31 January 2024. Recipients of the scholarship will be announced on 08 March 2024 at http://iad.kku.ac.th/gms_scholarships_app/. Detailed information on the scholarship program may be found in the attached application guidelines.
