COMMITTEE MEETING | COMMITTEE ON BARANGAY AFFAIRS

Hon. John M. Babli-ing, Chairperson of the Committee on Barangay Affairs, presided over the committee meeting of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Nueva Vizcaya held today, September 29, 2026.

The committee deliberated on matters concerning barangay governance and the delivery of essential services at the local level.

The committee was also joined by Resource Speakers Ernesto W. Maur, Sangguniang Bayan Member of Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya, and Karen Joy Cablinan, Sangguniang Bayan Member of Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya, who shared their insights and inputs during the discussion.

The meeting underscores the commitment of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan to meaningful consultation and collaborative legislative work in addressing matters affecting the province’s barangays and constituents.

Joining the people of Quirino in offering our final respects to the late Hon. Dakila Carlo “Dax” E. Cua, Governor of the Province of Quirino. 🕊️

We join fellow public servants, colleagues, friends, and the Cua family in honoring the life and years of dedicated public service of Governor Dax Cua.

Governor Cua served Quirino in various capacities, including as Vice Governor, Representative of the province’s lone congressional district, and Governor. He also served in leadership roles in local government organizations, including the Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines and the League of Provinces of the Philippines.

As we offer our final respects, may his contributions to public service and local governance be remembered with gratitude and respect.

Our deepest condolences to the Cua family, relatives, colleagues, and the people of Quirino.

ENERGETIC MONDAY!

Starting the week with a busy, meaningful, and productive day of public service! 🙌

Earlier today, Board Member John M. Babli-ing, together with Governor Jose “Jing” Gambito and fellow members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, attended the “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” held at the CMP Convention Center, Nueva Vizcaya. 🇵🇭

The day continued with the 59th Regular Session of the 12th Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Nueva Vizcaya, held at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Session Hall, Capitol Compound, where important matters and legislative measures were discussed for the continued progress and welfare of the province. 🏛️📑

One team. One purpose. One Nueva Vizcaya.
