The Maritime Safety Services Unit – Surigao del Sur (MSSU-SDS), together with Coast Guard Sub-Station Bislig (CGSS Bislig) personnel, conducted an information drive on Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) safety policies for fisherfolks at Danipas, Barangay Labisma, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur.

The activity aimed to strengthen the awareness of local fisherfolks on maritime safety regulations, promote responsible fishing practices, and emphasize the importance of following safety measures while at sea to prevent maritime accidents and ensure the safety of lives and property.

Garcia PCG, Station Commander, together with its Sub-Stations participated in the conduct of the Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) on Fire Safety for Domestic Vessels, spearheaded by Lieutenant Junior Grade Alej Benjamin Jillan A. Agpuldo PCG, Acting Commander, Maritime Safety Service (CGDNEM8).
