📢 NOW LOOKING APPLICANTS! | BASIC CITIZEN MILITARY TRAINING (BCMT)

The 1504th (Surigao del Sur) Community Defense Center, 15th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army is now looking applicants for the Basic Citizen Military Training (BCMT).

This training provides qualified Filipino citizens with an opportunity to develop discipline, leadership, teamwork and basic military knowledge, while strengthening their sense of patriotism and commitment to the community and country.

Those who are interested and meet the qualifications are encouraged to apply and take part in this meaningful training experience. Join us in building a stronger, more prepared and service-oriented community.

On August 2, 2026, at 0700 HRS, the Charlie Company, gathered for a formation accompanied by arnis training and practice of turnover of the national flag to a bereaved family is a solemn military and civic tradition honoring a deceased service member.

IN PHOTOS: The Charlie Company, 1504th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army, led by Sgt Arturo R Abuelo Jr PA (Res), participated in a flag-raising ceremony on July 6, 2026, at the Bislig City Cultural Center. The event was honored by the presence of the City Mayor, City department heads and officers, employees, and personnel from the 67th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army. This solemn occasion marked the commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award.

The raising of the Philippine flag was conducted with utmost respect and pride, symbolizing unity and resilience among Filipino servicemen and the local government.
