Cabuyao ES Shines Bright in Bolinao District GSP Week Celebration 2026

A celebration of talent, teamwork, and the true spirit of Girl Scouting! Cabuyao Elementary School (CES), as part of Bolinao District delegation, brought home remarkable achievements during the Girl Scouts Week and and Scouting Month Celebration on October 17, 2026 at Alaminos , Pangasinan, showcasing the skills, creativity, and dedication of its young scouts.

The school proudly secured the following awards:
🏆 3rd Place – Twinkler Dance Exercise
🏆 5th Place – Star Dance Exercise
🏆 3rd Place – Junior Scouts’ Talents Unlimited
🏆 2nd Place – GSP Bento Snacks

These accomplishments reflect the scouts' hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. Adding to the excitement, the entries that placed in the Top 3 automatically qualify for the upcoming provincial-level competition, giving the deserving representatives another opportunity to bring pride and honor to Bolinao District.

Behind these achievements are dedicated troop leaders who generously shared their time, expertise, and encouragement. A special tribute is also extended to Charito V. Bustria, Head Teacher III of Cabuyao ES and School Head in Charge of GSP in Bolinao District. Her exemplary leadership, dedication, organizational skills, and unwavering support for learner development have helped create an environment where young scouts can discover their potential, build confidence, and strive for excellence. Her encouragement of teamwork and collaboration has been an important part of making these achievements possible.

Cabuyao Elementary School proudly celebrates its first-ever participation in the GAD Search for Best School GAD Implementer – Medium Category, where the school remarkably landed among the Top 4 Finalists. This milestone is a testament to the school’s commitment to promoting gender-responsive programs, inclusive practices, and a safe and empowering learning environment for all.

This achievement was made possible through the strong leadership of School Head, Charito V. Bustria, whose dedication and support continue to inspire the school community, alongside the committed efforts of GAD Focal Person, Sonia C. Calado, and the entire CES GAD team. Their collaboration has transformed the school’s GAD initiatives into meaningful actions that create positive change.

Cabuyao Elementary School conducted Operation Linis on September 14,2026 with the active participation of 4Ps beneficiaries and parents. Together, they cleaned school surroundings, promoting cleanliness, safety, and a healthy learning environment.

The activity showcased the spirit of bayanihan and community cooperation in keeping the school clean and conducive to learning.Learners will feel more welcome and comfortable in a clean and safe environment as they return to school ready to take the challenge for Term 2 of this school year 2026-2027.

Successful INSET for Teachers at the End of Term 1

Cabuyao Elementary School successfully conducted its In-Service Training (INSET) for Teachers at the end of Term 1 on September 10-11,2026, providing teachers with meaningful opportunities to reflect, learn, and strengthen their professional practices.

The training focused on enhancing teachers’ knowledge, skills, and strategies to address the diverse learning needs of pupils. Through interactive sessions, discussions, collaborative activities, and sharing of best practices, teachers gained valuable insights that can be applied in their classrooms.

The successful conduct of the INSET highlighted the school’s commitment to continuous professional development and quality teaching. It also strengthened teamwork and collaboration among teachers as they prepared for the succeeding term with renewed knowledge, confidence, and dedication to improving learner outcomes.
