ACT FOR LOW SPEED STREETS

Road crashes continue to claim countless innocent lives, worldwide, in an instant.

It is heartbreaking when we realize that overspeeding which is the leading cause of these road crashes can easily be avoided if only all drivers will not disregard the designated speed limits laid down for road safety.

No family deserves to mourn the loss of their loved ones in the hands of negligent and undisciplined drivers. Thus, the LTO shall not waiver in its commitment to license only QUALIFIED and DISCIPLINED DRIVERS, and ensure that only ROADWORTHY VEHICLES are operated on Philippine roads.

The LTO shall continue to fully support the global endeavor that aims to minimize, if not completely eradicate, these preventable road crash incidents from happening.

We encourage all drivers to be one with us in strictly following safe speed limits, as we promote ROAD SAFETY on this month of November 2021, and remember all those who have fallen from road crashes.

Alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 10930, ang validity ng mare-renew na Professional at Non-Professional Driver's License ay nakabatay sa pagkakaroon ng DEMERIT POINTS.

Ang nasabing Demerit Points ay nakukuha sa paglabag sa batas, alituntunin, at regulasyon ng transportasyong panlupa.

Effective 01 November 2021

ALL INBOUND passengers to Tawi-Tawi shall be required to present their GENUINE VACCINATION CARD of Covid-19 vaccines in lieu of the RT PCR Negative Result prior to boarding at the point of origin. Except for CHILDREN below 12 years old provided traveling with vaccinated/Negatively Tested Adults.

Other considerations:
1. Inbound travelers with first dose only can enter the province. They shall undergo 10 days of Quarantine and must complete their second dose in Tawi-Tawi.
2. Traveler with falsified documents shall be dealt with accordingly and will undergo 14 days quarantine in the LGU quarantine facility.
3. Everyone is advised to STAY AT HOME and OBSERVE HEALTH PROTOCOLS.
