LOOK || Botbot Peace Pact Holder Felix Pan-oy reiterates a point during the Botbot-Bekigan peace dialogue last March 1, 2023, hosted by the Bekigan tribe, held at the Bekigan Elementary school, the peace dialogue aims to settle the boundary between the two tribes.
Representative of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Mr. Andrew Magwilang and Alchemy Sapki, together with PPOC Focal Person Angel Baybay, and members of the PPOC Secretariat Office attended the dialogue.
Provincial Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr. hopes the dialogue would finally settle the issue.

IN POST | Provincial Governor, Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr. awarded the Certificate of Recognition yesterday (October 4, 2022) to Barangay Samoki represented by Barangay Treasurer, Ms. Joan Chonchonen. The Lupong Tagapamayapa (LT) of Samoki, Bontoc was adjudged as the best province's Best Local Peace Lupon for two (2) consecutive years. An amount of P20,000.00 from the Provincial Peace and Order Council was also given by Governor Lacwasan,PPOC Chairperson, as their cash incentive for the award.
On the same occasion, Governor Lacwasan, in his role as Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) Chairperson gave Certificates of Commendation to members of PPOC Secretariat for their exemplary perfomance from July 2019 to June 2022. The PPOC Secretariat was given a Certificate of Commendation after garnering a 101.38% performance rating for the year 2021. Signed by the Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) Head Secretariat, the PPOC citation was handed over by Mr. Samson Appoy of the Provincial DILG Office during the flag ceremony last October 3, 2022 .

LOOK: The Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council held its second quarter meeting to give updates on the accomplishments of the body on the anti-illegal drugs campaign of the government.
Per reports, the Mountain Province Police Provincial Office and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency were continuously monitoring illegal drug activities and are relentless in educating the public on illegal drugs through lectures, radio guesting, and social media platforms.
The council appreciated the active support of the community which resulted to the arrest of drug peddlers and confiscation of drug paraphernalia and one drug personality (w/warrant of arrest) for the period covering the second quarter of the year.

ATM: Joint secretariat meeting of the Provincial Peace and Order Council, Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council, Provincial Task Force (PTF) to End Local Communist Armed Conflict, PTF-Anti Illegal Logging and PTF-Anti Illegal Gambling.
The activity was chaired by PD Anthony Manolo I. Ballug and was attended by the TWG members and secretariats of the said councils. It was held at Cable Cafe, Loc-ong, Bontoc, Mountain Province.

BACK TO BACK Recognition | Mountain Province attained its IDEAL(HIGH FUNCTIONALITY) adjectival rating with a score of 100% for CY 2019 and 2020 during the 2021 ADAC Performance Audit Virtual Awarding (10 December 2021).
The Office of the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council of Mountain Province chaired by Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr. extends it's gratitude to the National ADAC Performance Audit Committee for awarding and recognizing the joint effort of the Provincial Local Government of Mountain Province, partners from national agencies, CSO's, religious sectors, other stakeholders and the municipalities in implementing it's PPA's to eradicate illegal drug problems in the province.
Congratulations also to the Municipalities of Barlig, Bauko, Bontoc, Sadanga, Tadian for the 2019 National ADAC Performance Audit Award. The Muncipality of Paracelis made it to the list for the 2020 National ADAC Performace Audit.
