๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ | The Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) through its Gender and Development Unit, conducts a bread and pastry baking activity in celebration of Fathersโ Day bannering the theme, โKeep the Connection Going: Building Stronger Bond between Father and Child; A Fathersโ Day Special,โ at the HM Kitchen Laboratory for Bread and Pastry of the College today, June 20.
In his message, College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by Vice President for Administration and Finance Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo Jr., recognized the impact of father-figure role in the growth and development of a child as well as being a dedicated public servant to the institution. โHAPPY FATHERโS DAY! May your role as a father inside your home and family overflow with unconditional love becoming as vibrant as the rainbow, radiates like the sun, appear as heroic in the eyes of your children, and be as charming โ a knight in shining armor in the heart of your spouse,โ Dr. Cue added in an opening program held at the New HM Hall.
Participated by MPSPC father employees with their child/ren, said event will run until tomorrow. #

โAs we transition our institution from a state college into a university, we also uplift, capacitate and support the development of every employees for them to thrive regardless of their identitiesโ, stated MPSPC President Dr. Edgar G. Cue as he graced the Trainersโ Training for LGBT employees spearheaded by the Gender and Development Unit at the College Audio-visual Room, Academic Building today, June 19.
Moreover, the activity also offers a free HIV testing for the participants and to those who wants to get tested. #

In celebration of the Pride month, the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College through its Gender and Development Unit conducts mental health seminar and free HIV testing to LGBT students dubbed, โEmbracing Diversity: Nurturing the Mental Health of the LGBT Students,โ at the College Administrative Hall today, June 18.
College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue represented by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Mark Preston S. Lopez, graced the activity. In his message he expressed his support not only to the LGBT students but the LGBT community as a whole. โTake pride of who you are as you are the builder of a future where love is love and humanity comes first before anything else,โ Dr. Cue added. #

MPSPC, through the initiative of the Gender and Development Unit, facilitated a Mothers' Day celebration with DIY home repairs at the Administrative Building yesterday, May 25, 2024.
College President Edgar G. Cue, represented by Mr Reynaldo P. Gayo, Jr, Vice President for Administration and Finance, expressed his support and appreciation to all mothers. In his message, he underscored the invaluable contributions of mothers in the family and the society as a whole and that they deserved to be supported and empowered. โMay this event not limit you with learning home repair skills as this also challenge and reshape societal prejudices, expectations around gender roles, fostering a stronger and more inclusive community,โ Dr. Cue added.
Participated by the MPSPC mothers and their children, the activity aims to promote inclusivity by providing all mother employees and their children with the necessary tools and knowledge to tackle home repairs, an area known to be male-dominated tasks. #
