In support to the 𝔹𝕒𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕓𝕒𝕪𝕒𝕟𝕘 𝕄𝕒𝕟𝕘𝕘𝕒𝕘𝕒𝕨𝕒 ℕ𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕝 ℝ𝕖𝕚𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕘𝕣𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 ℕ𝕖𝕥𝕨𝕠𝕣𝕜 (𝔹𝕄ℕℝℕ), the Schools Division Office of Mountain Province will open a service booth from April 13 to 16, 2026 at the Division Office that will cater to the following services:

GOODBYE SHS STRANDS!

DepEd issued DM 012, s. 2026 directing the full implementation of the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum starting SY 2026–2027 (incoming Grade 11)—including the removal of SHS strands and the shift to clusters of electives for greater flexibility and learner choice.

Under the revised SHS program, learners can explore a wider range of subjects aligned with their interests, career goals, and developing competencies, while the four SHS exits remain: higher education, employment, entrepreneurship, and middle-level skills development.

Bahagi ito ng patuloy na reporma ng DepEd at pamahalaan na bigyan ng pangalawang pagkakataon ang bawat Pilipino na makapag-aral, kahit anong edad o sitwasyon. Suportado ito ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. at ni Secretary Sonny Angara, upang ang ALS ay maging tunay at lehitimong paraan ng edukasyon para sa lahat.

DepEd Tayo ALS-Mountain Province

PDLs at BJMP - Mountain Province District Jail showcase skills through handicrafts

Bontoc, Mountain Province — The Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) at the BJMP Bilibid in Bontoc continue to demonstrate hard work, creativity, and determination through various livelihood initiatives aimed at preparing them for a productive life beyond incarceration.

The PDLs have created a variety of handcrafted products, including picture frames, clocks, tokens, and other personalized items, all carefully made by hand. These items serve not only as creative outputs but also as practical tools that the PDLs can use to rebuild their lives once released.

The customized products they produce are available for purchase, providing financial support for their families while the PDLs remain inside the facility. These livelihood efforts also help sustain their day-to-day needs and serve as a source of pride, purpose, and personal growth. Orders for customized family albums, clocks, tokens, and similar items are being accepted, with each product reflecting the skills and craftsmanship that they continuously develop.

Through this program, the PDLs gain valuable knowledge and abilities that equip them for independence and productivity upon reintegration into the community. Their skills development is an essential step toward ensuring that they can support themselves and contribute positively to society after release.

The Provincial Government of Mountain Province, under the leadership of Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr., reaffirms its full support for initiatives that uplift and empower individuals across the province. The Governor remains committed to programs that enhance livelihood opportunities, improve quality of life, and build meaningful skills that citizens can use in their daily lives.

The sample products customized by the PDLs, created to help support their families while they are inside the facility, are shown in the photos below.

WELLNESS BREAK PARA SA DEPED NON-TEACHING PERSONNEL

Para sa ating mga non-teaching personnel, ipinatutupad ang mga sumusunod na patakaran para sa work-from-home arrangement:

✅ Work-from-home nang hanggang dalawang (2) araw sa loob ng 4-day work period (October 27–30, 2025) na may approval ng head of office at submission ng accomplishment report

✅ Saklaw nito ang lahat ng pampublikong paaralan, Division, Region, at Central office.

✅ PARA SA MGA SCHOOL AT OFFICE HEADS: Tiyakin ang skeleton workforce para sa tuloy-tuloy na serbisyo sa mga paaralan at opisina.

Nawa’y maging daan ang wellness break na ito upang makasama ang pamilya, makapagpahinga, at muling magbalik ng sigla sa ating patuloy na paglilingkod. ❤️
