BFP EASTERN SAMAR PERSONNEL UNDERGO ANNUAL HEALTH/MEDICAL ASSESSMENT

Borongan City, Eastern Samar | October 7–8, 2026 — Personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Eastern Samar underwent the Annual Health/Medical Assessment conducted by FSUPT JENNIFER JEAN C TOLOSA, MD, Chief of the Health Services Section, BFP Region 8, in compliance with the directive of BFP Region 8 and pursuant to the BFP Health and Fitness Program.

The activity was conducted under the leadership of FCINSP JIMMY C PASAGUE, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal of BFP Eastern Samar, and aimed to assess the health condition of personnel and ensure their physical fitness and readiness to perform their duties and responsibilities in serving and protecting the community.

As part of the assessment, personnel underwent the prescribed medical laboratory examinations and other diagnostic procedures to monitor their overall health and identify potential health concerns.

The conduct of the Annual Health/Medical Assessment underscores the Bureau’s commitment to promoting the health, wellness, and fitness of its personnel, recognizing that a healthy and physically fit workforce is essential in delivering effective fire protection, emergency response, and public safety services.

Borongan City, Eastern Samar | October 7, 2026 — The Bureau of Fire Protection Eastern Samar successfully conducted a Turn-Over Ceremony for personnel reassigned to their new places of assignment at the BFP Eastern Samar Provincial Office.

The ceremony was led by FCINSP JIMMY C PASAGUE, Provincial Fire Marshal, highlighting the formal transition of duties and responsibilities of the concerned personnel.

BFP Eastern Samar extends its congratulations and full support to the personnel as they take on their new assignments and responsibilities.

The meetings provided an opportunity for concerned agencies and stakeholders to discuss matters concerning peace, order, security, and public safety.
