This academic initiative, spearheaded by Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Felix G. Raymundo, aims to monitor and evaluate the spelling proficiency of learners across all grade levels within the district, ensuring continuous academic growth and foundational competency.

Under the visionary leadership of School Principal IV Dr. Sajid S. Eliang, together with Assistant School Principal II Dr. Joseph F. Estrada, and under the guidance of PSDS Dr. Raymundo, the institution remains steadfast in supporting district-wide measures that elevate learning standards and foster academic excellence among students. Bugallon Integrated School stays fully committed to providing all BISians with quality education, strong foundational skills, and meaningful learning opportunities to help them succeed.

Bugallon Integrated School successfully convened a Faculty Meeting today, October 19, 2026, at the BIS Covered Court. Led by School Principal IV, Dr. Sajid S. Eliang, together with Assistant School Principal II, Dr. Joseph F. Estrada, and under the supervision of Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Felix G. Raymundo, the assembly gathered the teaching force to align school goals and further elevate the quality of education provided to all learners.

The primary focus of the meeting centered on reviewing upcoming school programs and strategic activities designed to promote academic success, student development, and institutional progress. Additionally, school leaders and educators engaged in constructive dialogue to address various operational issues and concerns, ensuring a proactive and unified approach toward solution-building and supportive campus management.

To wrap up the gathering, Dr. Sajid S. Eliang provided crucial administrative reminders and guidelines to reinforce school policies, maintain operational efficiency, and uphold high professional standards. 𝗕𝗨𝗚𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗡, 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡 — In line with its steadfast commitment to learner welfare and holistic excellence, the Bugallon Integrated School - Elementary Department officially kicked off the observance of 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 today, October 12, 2026, themed “𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙖 𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙪𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙤𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙙 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙨 𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙩𝙖𝙨 𝙣𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣.”

The weeklong event, running from October 12 to 16 across public elementary and secondary schools and Community Learning Centers (CLCs) nationwide, aligns with DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026 (Guidelines on Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment). The initiative reinforces prevention mechanisms against child protection concerns, elevates awareness of campus safety protocols, and fosters active community collaboration to maintain a safe, inclusive, protective, and conducive learning space for every learner.

Following the opening ceremonies during the morning Flag Raising Ceremony, BIS celebrated another major milestone as it formally recognized its campus journalists, student-athletes, coaches, and mentors who represented the institution in the 2026 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗗𝗦𝗣𝗖) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 2026 𝗕𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗜 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁.

The commendation and awarding ceremony was led by School Principal IV Dr. Sajid S. Eliang, alongside Assistant School Principal II Dr. Joseph F. Estrada, under the leadership and supervision of Public Schools District Supervisor Dr. Felix G. Raymundo.

BIS LAUNCHES ARAL MATH PROGRAM: STRENGTHENING SKILLS, BUILDING CONFIDENCE

A meaningful step toward stronger numeracy and greater learner confidence unfolded at Bugallon Integrated School as the school launched the ARAL Math Program on October 8, 2026, at 9:00 AM at the BIS Covered Court. The kick-off brought together the parents and guardians of identified ARAL Math learners, highlighting the importance of family support in addressing learning needs.

Ma’am Kristine M. Agustin, Head Teacher III, welcomed the participants and emphasized the value of collaboration among the school, parents, and the community in helping learners improve their mathematical skills.

Meanwhile, Ma’am Michelle M. Garcia, Department Head of Mathematics, provided an overview of the program, explaining how ARAL Math aims to address learning gaps, strengthen foundational numeracy, and build learners’ confidence through focused support and practice.

Ma’am Noemi C. Cabanisas, SPTA President, expressed the parents’ support for the initiative and encouraged families to remain actively involved in their children’s learning journey.

Adding inspiration to the occasion, Dr. Felix G. Raymundo, Sr., PSDS of Bugallon I District, encouraged parents and teachers to continue working together to provide learners with the guidance and opportunities they need to improve and succeed.

The gathering ended with the Closing Remarks of Ma’am Editha T. Soriano, Master Teacher II, who thanked the parents and guardians for their support and recognized the dedication of the ARAL tutors who will guide the learners throughout the program.

The activity was made more meaningful through the leadership and support of Dr. Sajid S. Eliang, EdD, School Principal IV, and Dr. Joseph F. Estrada, Assistant School Principal II, in advancing programs that respond to learners’ needs.
