DOST XI TO HOLD DIGITAL TAYO WEBINAR SERIES 📣

To raise awareness and help netizens on the appropriate use of the tools, resources, and online platforms in the new normal, the Department of Science and Technology XI (DOST XI) will be conducting the Digital Tayo webinar series as part of the post-Regional Science and Technology Week (RSTW) virtual celebration in Davao Region.

The first part of the Digital Tayo webinar series is “Digital Empowerment” which will be held via Zoom platform and Facebook Live on November 19, 2021 at 2:00 P.M.- 3:30 P.M. The general public, especially students and advocates, are encouraged to join to know about the effective and responsible use of social media platforms in promoting advocacies and empowering different sectors of the society. The topics will be discussed by the Department of Education (DepEd) InSet Resource Speaker, Stephen Ong.

DOST XI KICKS OFF VIRTUAL CELEBRATION OF 2021 REGIONAL S&T WEEK IN DAVAO REGION 📣

The Department of Science and Technology XI (DOST XI) successfully launched the 2021 Regional Science and Technology Week (RSTW) celebration thru a Virtual Program last November 3, 2021 via Zoom platform and live-streamed via Facebook.

With this year’s theme, “Agham at Teknolohiya: Tugon sa Hamon ng Panahon”, DOST aims to feature the contributions of science, engineering, technology and innovation (SETI) in the areas of research and development, innovation, and updates from the different sectors in food and agriculture, health, business enterprises, information and communications technology, energy, and other industries.

“The DOST, as the prime mover of Science, Technology, and Innovation products and services, is being urged to prioritize the advancement of concrete and effective solutions in response to the challenges of the new normal”, said DOST Secretary Fortunato de la Peña.
