Mula sa mayamang biodiversity ng 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗽𝗼, sa makabagong sining ni 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗥.𝗦. 𝗟𝗶𝗺, hanggang sa pamana ng 𝗠𝗮𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗮, tampok ngayong linggo ang tatlong publikasyon ng Pambansang Museo ng Pilipinas na nagbibigay ng mas malalim na pag-unawa sa kalikasan, sining, at kulturang Pilipino.

📍Mababasa at mahihiram na ang mga ito sa 𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐢 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲. Inaanyayahan namin ang lahat na bumisita at tuklasin ang mga bagong kaalamang hatid ng mga aklat na ito.

Sa pagdiriwang ng ika-165 anibersaryo ng kapanganakan ni Dr. Jose Rizal, panoorin ang 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙧𝙨 ng tanggapan ni Senator Loren Legarda at DFA. Tunghayan ang kanyang naging paglalakbay at mga pagsubok sa Europa upang magsilbi sa bansa. Muli nating balikan ang mga aral ng ating pambansang bayani na gabay pa rin natin hanggang ngayon. 🇵🇭

𝘉𝘶𝘩𝘪, 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘚𝘶𝘳 — 𝘔𝘢𝘺 5, 2026

The Buhi Municipal Library had a meaningful and productive day last Tuesday, May 5, 2026, as it welcomed an official monitoring team from the 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐏𝐋𝐃) 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 (𝐍𝐋𝐏) for an onsite visit.

The team was composed of 𝐌𝐫. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐄. 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐳, 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐈𝐈, and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐀𝐦𝐲 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏. 𝐁𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐠𝐨, 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐈 of the PLD-NLP. They were warmly received by the library's own 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐒. 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐨, 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐈, who guided them throughout the entire visit.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐖𝐚𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭

This onsite monitoring is part of the NLP's ongoing 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄-𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 across the country — and Buhi is proud to be one of them.

During the visit, the NLP team conducted a thorough assessment of the library, looking into the following:
📌 The library's collection of books and other reading materials
📌 The overall condition of the library's physical space and facilities
📌 How the library is operated and managed on a daily basis
📌 The range of services available to library users and the general public

The findings from this visit will be used to help our local government identify areas for improvement and chart a clearer path forward for our library. At the same time, it allows the NLP to better understand what kind of support and technical assistance Buhi truly needs.

𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲

The local government of Buhi, under the steadfast leadership of 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐲 𝐏. 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞, has always believed that a strong library is a strong community. This visit is a testament to that belief — and a reminder that the work being done inside the walls of our Municipal Library matters deeply to every Buhînën.

We are grateful to the NLP for taking the time to visit us, and we look forward to the continued partnership as we work together to make the Buhi Municipal Library an even better place for our people — a place where every Buhînën can read freely, learn continuously, and grow without limits.
