DepEd Tayo-Matias B. Salvador Memorial Elementary School joins the world in observing the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial 2026 with the theme:
“LIGHT THE LEGACY. Remember. Advance. Act.”

This activity reminds us to remember the lives lost to HIV/AIDS and show support and compassion to individuals and families affected by HIV. It also encourages everyone to continue spreading awareness, understanding, and acceptance in our community.

As one MBSMES family, we continue to promote kindness, respect, and a stigma-free environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

With the guidance of our School Head, Ma’am Malou Gallardo, and together with Nurse Grace Yutoc, the MBSMES community stands united in raising awareness and inspiring positive action.

Monitoring of Tara Basa Tutors and YDW

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Raffie Tamayo Alfaro – Social Welfare Assistant (Region III) for visiting our school and conducting the monitoring of our Tara Basa Tutors and Youth Development Workers.

The orientation talked about important updates in education such as the Three-Term School Calendar, assessment and grading, lesson planning, flexible learning programs, Education in Emergencies (EiE), the strengthened Senior High School curriculum, and work immersion. These reforms aim to help teachers improve their teaching strategies and better support learners in the classroom.

MONITORING OF PROJECT LEARN (Learning Enhancement and Readiness Nurturing) / Summer Reading Program

Our sincere appreciation to our PSDS, Dr. Esperanza F. Perez, for the monitoring of Project LEARN: Learning Enhancement and Readiness Nurturing, a joint initiative with LGU Pandi under the Summer Reading Program.

This activity is under the leadership of Ma’am Malou S. Gallardo, as the school continues its commitment to strengthening learners’ reading skills and readiness for the next level of learning. 📚✨

TARA, BASA! TUTORING PROGRAM – MONITORING

Our heartfelt thanks to our PSDS, Dr. Esperanza F. Perez, for visiting and monitoring the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program. Her presence brought encouragement to Tara Basa tutors, learners and parents as we continue working together to improve reading skills and promote a love for learning.

Matagumpay na naisagawa ang Day 1 ng “Tara, Basa!” Tutoring Program sa DepEd Tayo-Matias B. Salvador Memorial Elementary School—isang inisyatiba ng DepEd katuwang ang DSWD na naglalayong palakasin ang kakayahan sa pagbasa ng ating mga mag-aaral.
