11 September 2026 | Day 2 of INSET 2026

Tambacan Elementary School successfully wrapped up its two-day INSET 2026 with another meaningful day of learning and collaboration.

The final-day sessions centered on the analysis of RMA results, helping teachers identify learnersโ€™ numeracy strengths, learning gaps, and areas requiring focused support. Teachers also explored effective numeracy intervention strategies and worked collaboratively in the afternoon to develop numeracy-focused Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) that respond to learnersโ€™ specific needs.

From reading interventions on Day 1 to numeracy interventions on Day 2, the training strengthened the teachersโ€™ knowledge, skills, and shared commitment to providing purposeful and responsive learning experiences.

The INSET may have ended, but the lessons gained will continue to guide our efforts toward helping every learner grow and succeed. ๐Ÿ’™

10 September 2026 | DAY 1 of INSET 2026

Tambacan Elementary School successfully conducted the first day of its In-Service Training (INSET) 2026, focusing on strengthening teachersโ€™ capacity to address learnersโ€™ reading needs.

The sessions covered the interpretation and analysis of CRLA results for Key Stage 1 (Grades 1 to 3) and Phil-IRI English results for Key Stage 2 (Grades 4 to 6), enabling teachers to identify learnersโ€™ reading levels and specific learning gaps.

Participants also explored practical reading intervention strategies, including the use of assessment evidence, matching appropriate support to identified needs, designing focused and scaffolded activities, and developing Reading Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) with clear objectives, guided practice, and mastery checks.

Through meaningful discussions and collaborative learning, the teachers strengthened their commitment to providing responsive and effective literacy interventions for every learner. ๐Ÿ’™

Through HINAY (Ease-In), they are given the opportunity to work on their activities, review lessons, and learn at a pace that suits them.

Learning continues. Progress matters. Safety first. ๐Ÿ’™

HINAY: Learning Continues at Home

Despite the suspension of face-to-face classes, our learners continue to make the most of their time at homeโ€”reviewing for their exams, completing their learning activities, and staying engaged in their studies.

Through HINAY (Ease-In), learning continues at a flexible and manageable pace, while keeping the safety and well-being of our learners a top priority.

Keep learning, keep trying, and stay safe, dear learners! ๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ’™
