The CIDG RFU 13 Regional Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (RAGPTD), led by Chairman Dr. Edwin T. Montalba, recently turned over 40 food packs to a shelter for mentally challenged individuals in Surigao City. The shelter is currently caring for 17 male and 19 female residents under its protection and supervision.
The activity formed part of the various outreach and community support programs of the advisory group in support of the causes and advocacies of CIDG RFU 13. Through this simple gesture, the group aimed to share blessings, extend compassion, and bring encouragement to the residents of the shelter.
Dr. Edwin Montalba emphasized that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in the lives of people who need care, support, and understanding. The turnover activity also highlighted the CIDG RFU 13 RAGPTD's commitment to promoting community involvement, unity, and humanitarian service beyond its law enforcement responsibilities.
The management and residents of the shelter expressed their sincere gratitude to the advisory group and to everyone who contributed to making the activity successful.
