𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗔𝗞!

The Caraga Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development (CCAARRD) is set to launch 𝗣𝗔𝗞 𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗡: 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵, 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘁𝘆 on 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟰–𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at Caraga State University – Main Campus.

𝗣𝗔𝗞 𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗡 brings together a series of sessions on selected areas of research and project implementation. Topics include DOST-GIA proposal preparation and DPMIS v2, technical progress reporting, project work planning, budget preparation, and financial reporting, with the aim of providing participants with practical guidance on commonly encountered project requirements and processes.

The program also introduces participants to tools and approaches that may be useful in research and data-related work, including social network analysis using Gephi, regression analysis using R, GIS, and artificial intelligence. These sessions offer an opportunity to become more familiar with different methods and digital tools that can support research activities.

More than a set of technical discussions, PAK GANERN provides a space for learning, sharing experiences, and gaining practical insights on project documentation, reporting, analysis, and research tools.

Expect informative sessions, useful conversations, and a learning environment that keeps technical topics approachable and engaging.

Professional? Yes. Practical? Definitely. Boring? Hopefully not on the agenda.

Together, these leading institutions are bringing together experts and stakeholders in Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources (AANR) to showcase significant research and development outputs, exchange knowledge and insights, and strengthen collaboration toward advancing science, innovation, and sustainable development in Caraga.

As host institution, 𝗔𝗗𝗦𝗦𝗨 highlights its commitment to advancing research and innovation that respond to regional needs, support sustainable agriculture and natural resource management, and contribute to community development.

This October, researchers, innovators, academic institutions, government agencies, and other AANR stakeholders will come together at ADSSU to present research findings, highlight innovations, exchange ideas, and strengthen inter-agency collaboration toward a more dynamic and responsive regional R&D sector.

Every October, we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Month by honoring the rich heritage, enduring traditions, and invaluable contributions of indigenous cultural communities (ICCs) and the indigenous peoples (IPs).

By virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 1906, the observance recognizes the vital role of IPs as stewards of their ancestral domains and partners in advancing sustainable and inclusive development.

The Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga joins the nation in celebrating indigenous peoples - their identity, culture, traditions, and contributions. We also reaffirm the importance of respecting their rights, protecting their ancestral lands, and amplifying their voices in building a more inclusive society.

With its growing market, our farmers and other stakeholders have been developing ways to meet the rising demand for coffee. DOST-PCAARRD continues to support programs and projects through science, technology, and innovation to help improve the quality and yield of coffee in the country.
