โA warrant is not just a piece of paper that has to be served. Our personnel have to make sure the information is verified, the operation is properly coordinated, and the person is handled according to law. That is how we do the job right,โ PGen Nartatez said.
โAng mahalaga, maayos ang proseso mula simula hanggang matapos. We will act on valid warrants, but we will also make sure that the rights of the person involved are respected,โ he added.
The operations are part of the PNPโs Enhanced Managing Police Operations under the PNP Focused Agenda, using validated information and coordination to act on court-issued warrants. These efforts support the peace and security priorities of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
The PNP reminds the public not to confront or approach wanted persons. Information should instead be reported to the nearest police station or through proper police channels.
These lawful police operations form part of the PNPโs continuing delivery of โBagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.โ
