TINGNAN | Nagsagawa ang Caraga 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑭𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒔’ 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍 (𝑹𝑭𝑨𝑪) ng kanilang 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 nitong Agosto 20, 2026 sa NFA Caraga Conference Room, Butuan City. Pangunahing agenda ng pagpupulong ang election of RFAC officers na manunungkulan sa taong 2026-2028. Si Incumbent Chairperson Ricardo M. Fernandez ay muling naihalal sa pangalawang pagkakataon.

Kasamang naihalal bilang RFAC Officers sina Rio P. Grande bilang Vice Chairperson, Marivic M. Dizon bilang Secretary, Jocelyn T. Dela Torre bilang Treasurer at Garry S. Gardigo bilang RFAC Auditor.

Nakilahok din sina RM Leo V. Damole, ARM Geralyn G. Blancaflor at RECO Vincent L. Albia sa pagpupulong kasama ang mga farmer leaders.

Sa naturang pagpupulong ay naghatid ng mga katanungan at suhestiyon ang mga RFAC officers patungkol sa palay prices, hauling of palay deliveries, at mga polisiya ng NFA.

Kabilang din sa naging talakayan ang mga hakbang na tatahakin ng NFA, tulad ng PRICERS, MAFIM Projects at iba pang mga plano at proyekto sa hinaharap, na siyang magiging katuwang ng mga magsasaka upang higit pang mapaunlad ang sektor ng agrikultura at mapalago ang kabuhayan ng mga magsasaka. 🇵🇭🌾

𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 - National Food Authority (NFA) Acting Deputy Administrator John Robert R. Hermano led a series of site inspections in the Caraga Region to assess proposed locations for implementing the Masagana Agri-Food Infrastructure Modernization (MAFIM) Projects.

Acting Deputy Administrator Hermano, joined by AA Veralew DG. De Vera and AGSD Acting Department Manager Allan Joseph P. Abapo, inspected the proposed MAFIM site in La Paz, Agusan del Sur. The visit focused on assessing the site’s readiness and the progress of preparations ahead of the project’s upcoming implementation.

A separate site inspection was also conducted in Mangagoy, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, where officials reviewed a proposed lot donation intended for the NFA’s construction of modern post-harvest facilities. The prospective donation is expected to support the agency’s infrastructure development initiatives and expand its capacity to serve farmers, stakeholders, and communities in the region.

The inspections underscored the NFA’s commitment to modernizing its facilities, improving service delivery, and reinforcing its role in ensuring a more responsive and reliable food security system.

Regional Manager Leo Damole and key regional officials were also present during the inspections, providing technical and operational inputs on the proposed sites and ongoing preparations in the region. 🌾

28 𝓙𝓾𝓵𝔂 2026 | Key officials of the National Food Authority (NFA) Caraga Region convened for the Regional Management Committee (RMC) Meeting in Surigao del Sur to tackle significant updates and directives from the recently concluded National Planning Conference. The meeting also reviewed the Region’s accomplishments and assessed the status of ongoing programs and projects. Participants identified operational gaps and formulated strategic measures to enhance service delivery across the region, reinforcing aligned and responsive operations.

RM Leo Damole headed the conduct of the activity, together with ARM Geralyn Blancaflor, Branch Managers, Section Heads, and other key officials.🌾

𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰!✨

The Regional Pre-Planning Conference held on June 25-26, 2026 at the NFA Caraga RO, Butuan City brought the team together to prepare for what’s ahead. It was a timely step taken before the Operations Planning and Seminar-Workshop and the Integrated National Planning Conference in July, setting a strong foundation for the months to come.

Driven by the leadership of RM Leo Damole, the team worked to align plans, formulate action plans and strategies, and set marketing and operational targets for palay and rice. These efforts centered on the Catch-Up Plan for June-December 2026, the 2027 Revised COB, and the 2028 Budgetary Estimates, all of which will be implemented region-wide.

The conference outputs will become part of the agency’s comprehensive Marketing Plan, aligned with NFA’s mandate, goals, and mission.

The conference was attended by RO officials, Branch Managers, and Statisticians.
