⚠️ VIRAL “PREDICTIONS” ABOUT BUTUAN CIRCULATE ONLINE
A social media post from Rudy Baldwin, who is known by some followers for sharing predictions or “visions,” is circulating online after mentioning a number of possible future events involving Butuan City.
⚠️ These are personal predictions and not verified forecasts or official warnings. There is currently no scientific basis to treat specific future earthquakes, fires, crimes, accidents, or deaths as confirmed events simply because they were predicted in a social media post.
Preparedness is still always wise.
For verified information, the public should continue to rely on PHIVOLCS for earthquakes, PAGASA for weather, DOH for health advisories, and local authorities such as BFP, PNP, CDRRMO, and the Butuan City Government.
Stay alert, but don’t panic. Prepare wisely, verify information, and follow official advisories.
