February is National Oral Health Month! 🦷😁✨

The Department of Education is one with the nation in promoting and raising awareness about the importance of oral health, particularly among learners.

This year’s celebration centers around the theme “Pamilya, Una Kong Dentista,” which underscores the essential role families have in promoting proper oral health care at home. It highlights that good dental hygiene begins with parents and guardians who teach and reinforce healthy habits within their households.

In a heartwarming gesture of generosity, representatives from MV Gallego, led by Sir Rene Boy Abiva and Ma’am Marivic Victa, visited Imelda Integrated School to distribute gifts to the pupils of the 'Alalay sa Pagbasa' program. The event was held as part of MV Gallego's commitment to supporting literacy and education.

The beneficiaries, who are young learners striving to improve their reading skills, were overjoyed by the thoughtful act of kindness. The program, spearheaded by the school with the leadership of Dr. Rhoda U. Mangulabnan, aims to foster a love for reading among students and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

On behalf of the entire school community, Dr. Rhoda U. Mangulabnan, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to MV Gallego.

The visit was a testament to the power of collaboration between the private sector and educational institutions, emphasizing the importance of investing in the future of Filipino children. 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗵 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Imelda Integrated School (IIS) has officially received a permit to implement Madrasah Education. This milestone was achieved through the collaborative efforts of the Curriculum Implementation Division and IIS personnel.

With this development, IIS will now be able to offer Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education to its Muslim students. This expansion aims to cater to the specific educational needs of the members of Muslim community and provide them with a comprehensive learning experience.

The Social Secretary’s Office proudly presents the 148 Parol Entries from different Public Secondary Schools across the Philippines.
