𝐂𝐓𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦

To strengthen learners’ reading and mathematical abilities, Camp Tinio National High School (CTNHS) is participating in the Department of Education’s Summer Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program, an initiative designed to address learning gaps among students that runs from May 6 to June 2, 2026.

A total of 67 ARAL tutees from the Junior High School Department are participating in the 20-day Reading and Mathematics intervention sessions that is being facilitated by six ARAL tutors.

During the orientation program, Dr. Mofel P. Panahon, Public Schools District Supervisor of District IX, lauded the learners for accepting the invitation to join the program. She emphasized that the ARAL Summer Program would help students develop appreciation and love for reading and problem-solving skills, which are essential foundations of learning.

“Maraming salamat sa inyong pagkakanarito na handang matuto sa pamamagitan ng ARAL Summer Program. Makakatulong ito sa inyo dahil mas mahahasa pa ang inyong kakayahan sa pagbasa na magagamit ninyo upang maabot ang mga pangarap ninyo sa buhay,” Panahon stated.

Meanwhile, Dr. Leah Paulene V. Escuadro shared that the school has prepared all learning resources and necessary materials to ensure the effective implementation of the program throughout its duration.

“CTNHS is fully prepared and has geared all of the learning resources the tutees will use to provide a supportive learning environment that leads to active engagement of students and excellent quality of program implementation in our school,” Escuadro added.

For ARAL tutor Romilyne Aliah Mamangon, being part of the program is a fulfilling experience that deepens her appreciation of her role as a teacher by helping reinforce learning among ARAL tutees.

“Masayang makita na nag-iimprove ang bawat mag-aaral at nakakataba rin ng pusong isipin na nagiging bahagi ako ng kanilang pagkatuto sa bawat araw ng ARAL Summer Program, habang patuloy silang hinuhubog tungo sa mas malalim na pag-unawa at pagkatuto,” Mamangon expressed.

Stakeholders are also sharing a vital role to help learners by providing meals and snacks that will nourish and sustain them during the tutoring sessions.

Moreover, an orientation was conducted on the first day of the ARAL Summer classes on May 6, 2026, to familiarize learners with the goals, objectives, and significance of the program in improving their academic performance, as well as strengthening their foundational literacy and numeracy skills.

CTNHS will also hold a simple recognition program on June 2, 2026 to acknowledge and appreciate the tutees and honor their effort, perseverance, and determination in completing the entire course of the ARAL Summer Program.

📅 ISKEDYUL NG GAWAIN (Hunyo 1-5, 2026)
Hunyo 1: Opening Program (Registration, Orientation, at Kick-off Ceremony)
Hunyo 2-4: Brigada Proper (Paglilinis, pagpipintura, minor repairs, at pagtatanim)
Hunyo 5: Closing Program (Final inspection at pagkilala sa mga boluntaryo)

🤝 PAANO KA MAKAKATULONG?
Hindi lang paglilinis ang pwede mong gawin! Maaari kang tumulong sa pamamagitan ng:
- Pag-volunteer ng Oras at Lakas – makiisa sa paglilinis at pagkukumpuni.
- Pag-donate ng Materyales – pintura, cleaning supplies, o school supplies.
- Pagbabahagi ng Kasanayan – carpentry, electrical works, o painting.
- Pagbibigay ng Supporta – pag-sponsor ng pagkain at tubig para sa mga volunteers.

🎒 MGA DAPAT DALHIN
Para sa mga lalahok, huwag kalimutang magdala ng:
- Kagamitang Panlinis: Walis, dustpan, basahan, disinfectant.
- Kagamitang Pampintura: Pintura, brush, roller.
- Kagamitan sa Pagkukumpuni: Martilyo, pako, screwdriver.
- Personal na Gamit: Tubig, pamunas, at ekstrang damit.
