On March 06, 2026, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Nueva Ecija conducted a Technical Advisory Visit (TAV) in Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija. The activity was attended by members of the City Cooperative Development and Allied Services and the Science City of Muñoz Union of Cooperatives.

The visit aimed to provide guidance and technical assistance on labor laws, workplace compliance, and best practices to ensure the protection and welfare of workers within the cooperative sector. Through initiatives like the TAV, DOLE continues to strengthen its partnership with cooperatives and local organizations in promoting decent work, fair labor standards, and harmonious labor-management relations.

SPES Check Payout successfully conducted by DOLE Nueva Ecija Field Office in partnership with LGU Quezon! Our hardworking student-beneficiaries from Quezon, Nueva Ecija received their well-deserved wages after days of productive work.

Under the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES), DOLE shoulders 40% of the salary while the LGU covers the remaining 60%—helping our young students earn and support their education.

A productive and inspiring courtesy visit took place as the Warden and leadership team from Cabanatuan City District Jail – Male and Female Dormitory paid a visit to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Nueva Ecija office.

The coordination meeting centered on the major agenda: DILEEP (DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program) — a vital initiative providing sustainable livelihood grants, skills training, and emergency employment opportunities to support Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), their families, and pathways to successful reintegration into society.

Both sides shared insights, strengthened ties, and reaffirmed their shared commitment to humane jail management, rehabilitation, economic empowerment, and building safer communities.

The DOLE Nueva Ecija Field Office held a series of coordination meetings with the Department of Education – Nueva Ecija Division, PESO Sta. Rosa, and representatives from PROS Marketing.

The meetings focused on enhancing visitorial and enforcement programs through proactive technical assistance and stronger partnerships.

A key discussion centered on the Family Welfare Program (FWP), emphasizing DOLE’s approach of providing ongoing support beyond inspections to help establishments maintain long-term compliance with labor standards.

These efforts highlight the continuing commitment in Nueva Ecija to promote decent work and protect workers’ rights.

The Public Employment Service Offices (PESOs) of Nueva Ecija have been recognized for their outstanding performance in public employment services.

During the Central Luzon 2025 Year-End Performance Assessment (YEPA) and 2026 Planning Exercise held on February 24, 2026, at Royce Hotel, Clark, the following Nueva Ecija PESOs were declared winners in the 2025 Regional Search for Best PESO:

1st Class Municipality: PESO Talavera
2nd Class Municipality: PESO Llanera

This comprehensive sweep underscores the province’s dedication to delivering high-quality labor market services, effectively connecting job seekers with meaningful employment opportunities, and advancing the economic well-being of families and communities across Central Luzon.

As regional champions in their respective categories, these PESOs will proudly represent Central Luzon in the upcoming 2025 National Search for Best PESO, where they will compete against top performers from across the Philippines.

On February 20, 2026, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region 3, through its Nueva Ecija Field Office, actively participated in the Consultative Meeting on Programs and Projects for Fiscal Years 2026 and 2027. The event took place at the Cabanatuan City Convention Center and focused on initiatives available for Local Government Units (LGUs) in the Third District of Nueva Ecija.

Representatives from various national agencies across Region 3 presented their respective programs, targets, and implementation plans for the upcoming fiscal years. Each presentation was followed by an engaging Question and Answer portion to clarify details and encourage collaboration.

The activity was spearheaded by Third District Representative Julius Cesar 'Jay' Vergara. DOLE Region 3 was represented by Jefferson U. Sabado, Labor and Employment Officer II, who highlighted labor and employment programs ready for adoption by LGUs.

This consultative gathering strengthened partnerships between national agencies and local governments, aiming to deliver more effective services and opportunities to communities in the Third District of Nueva Ecija. A successful step forward in fostering inclusive development and worker empowerment!

In line with the Department's continuing digitalization initiatives and in support of the Ease of Doing Business Act, DOLE Regional Office No. III advises all stakeholders to utilize the 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗖𝗦𝗛𝗣) 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺.

The system is accessible via the 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹 at reports.dole.gov.ph for the processing and monitoring of all CSHP submissions. The Regional Office and all Provincial Offices are gradually phasing out manual paper submissions in favor of this real-time tracking system.
